Harrah's Hotel and Casino Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Good points: Good location on the strip. Good links to monorail, taxis and shuttles. Room quiet and comfortable. Room service efficient and food good. Bad points: room a little shabby with no view. Handling of a missing parcel particularly poor from the hotel staff, particularly the Duty Manager over the weekend. Long queues for breakfast and coffee at the restaurant and Starbucks - the 3 dollar room service charge was well worth it.

The room was spacious and the queen beds comfortable. The bathroom needs updating though...regular tub with shower curtain and inadequate ventilation so that the mirror fogged up. Nice location on the Strip and ample self-park...I don't do valet. The pool was small, and offered no shade. Front desk check-in went smoothly and quickly. No fridge. Overall nice experience.

Other people's leftover food from previous stay in our room (housekeeping said they don't deal with food), no wireless Internet (though support kept me on hold for two hours saying there was and they just needed to rest things), a miserable hotel manager, elevators that didn't work, hairs (not ours) in the bath, mold around the tub and toilet, rips in the bed frame, gross stains on the floor- and this was a room that was upgraded. I hated it here and recommend you stay away. It was so bad I had to take pictures to show others.

Centrally located, easy to navigate. Legends show located in the hotel was better than I thought and was very entertaining. The staff was very helpful!

The room was very well decorated, clean and the bed comfortable. Only stayed one night so didn't use many of the hotel amenities but for the time we were there, no problems and enjoyed our stay.

The first room we settled into was pretty crappy. It had a broken deadbolt and it was overall pretty beat up. I went to the concierge and complained about the door and they put us into an equivalent room that was MUCH MUCH nicer. I applaud their service but i think they still have some renovations to do to get up to speed.

good value as far as price and location. The room was clean and comfortable.I would recommend it for those reasons, but decor is dated. I would probably stay somplace newer next time.

Everything was excellent except the buffet.

Great room for the money. Great location on the strip. Good restaurants.

Nice enough for the price

Bathroom was ok, only one sink. Hotel was clean and conveniently located.

There was a 3 hr delay in being able to check-in. The room was not made-up until very late in each day. The bathroom floor was not mopped before we checked in nor anytime while we were there. However, we definitely enjoyed the casino and the restaurants were the best we ate at during our stay.

Right in the middle of the best hotels. Location, location, location.

I didn't like the fact that you cannot put anything in the refrigerator that is in the room. That doesn't make sense to me.

This hotel was great. It was in the middle of everything.

great hotel, will stay there again

The hotel was OK (rooms are not particularly good, just OK), but the location is great. We had big issues with services that the hotel sells as extra, like internet connectivity (via phone?!!!). Besides being charged too much for this service, it did not work consistently. We had to try several times every time to try to connect, but it was just aggravating.

The mini bar was smelling: litter was not removed for days

harrahs is right on the center strip of vegas and since this was my first time to vegas i wanted to stay somewhere close to everything so this hotel was perfect. When we checked into the hotel we decided to upgrade our room to one of the suites expecting it to be a nice room considering the original room booked was a delux room. when we got to the room i was somewhat disapointed because it was a good size room but nothing special about it . overal our experiance was pleasent i would come back and stay here again room service was great and our room was very clean.

This hotel was very smokey and didn't feel clean. When you checked in the staff was unfriendly, and reminded me more of the check out clerk at a grocery store. What a difference coming from the Red Rocks Resort!

The casino is dated.

Very clean for the value, except the carpet looked very dirty; Probably needed to be shampooed. There was a sewerage smell that came and went all 3 days both days in the room and bathroom. Would had complained but did not want to change rooms. Funny furniture that did not match; it's like they bought it from other resorts that remodeled. Very loud but then again its Vegas, so that's to be expected. Did see security often in the halls which was great. The pool was nice plus busy, but the lounge chairs were very old. Great service at the pool !!

It took 3 rooms before they found me a clean room

We stayed two nights at Harrahs. The room had two queen beds and was very (too)small. Everything was automated. Clicking around with the remote caused same unintended and expensive chargings. The floor was wet. The shower was hanginging off the wall and didn't work properly. The room service took about 40 minutes, which is definetely too long. Positive was, that we got two show tickets for free. We watched the Human Nature guys who performed a great show.Also good was the central location in the middle of the strip

This is a great hotel. It was a return visit due to the quality of room and service experienced during prior visits. I will return again.

I was very pleased with the service I received, especially considering I placed my reservation 5-10 minutes prior to check in. The room was nice and reasonably priced. The check-in staff was very friendly. The location was ideal-directly in the middle of the strip. I was even given complimentary 2 for 1 meal and show tickets. The one drawback was the aggressive time share sales reps. It was like being in the invasion of the body snatchers. But for 2 hrs of my time I got free tickets to see one of the best comedy shows for free that would have cost my wife and I over $100 to see.

Great location on the Las Vegas Strip, Total Rewards program cooperates with many nearby casinos, the stay was a great value.

We chose the room with 2 show tickets included. My husband and I stayed for 3 night and got 2 tickets to Jubilee (which was an incredible show)for a very very reasonable price. The room was very clean and even had a television in the bathroom (not that we needed one). The staff were all polite and helpful. We were both very satisfied with our Harrah's experience.

We were very pleased with our room. It was clean, large, A/C worked great and bed was very comfortable. I've stayed other places for a lot more money where the room was not nearly as nice. We were only in town for one night and this worked out perfectly. We did not have to wait in a long line to check-in as I had heard on other reviews. We checked in at 3:00 p.m. We did see a long line later in the evening. I would have liked the pool to be open later. We were able to walk to all the places we wanted to go.

In the middle of the action. Near the monorail (right out back) and next to everything in the heart of Vegas like Mirage, Caesars, etc...Good gambling, great price. Only bad thing was pool, and no ammenities. Basic room, service, everything else basic. If going with a group, great place to stay. Going to hit the clubs, party all night, great place. Going with your girl and want more of a upscale area, quiet, maybe not the best if you can spend a little more. Maybe try south end like MGM, or Mandalay Bay (they have a huge pool and Mandalay has a Ocean wave pool w/ sand). All in all, great for the money if you can catch a special!

Has a great position on the strip, right in the middle of everything but with the monorail also enables you to access both the North and South strip.

I was pleasantly surprised with the value I got for the bucks I paid. My hotel room was clean and comfortable, which are musts for me. The hotel was also centrally located making it convenient to walk along the Las Vegas strip. Service though in their The Cafe restaurant was bad. We waited so long to be seated and then waited some more to be served that we ended just walking out. Other than this unpleasant experience, my stay in the hotel was very enjoyable.
