Stratosphere Tower - Casino & Resort Hotel - Las Vegas

our car got clamped in the hotel while we were staying there because they said we parked in the valay area so we had to pay them another $100 to remove that

We had a very quick stop in Vegas, just 2 nights, but the Stratosphere provided great value, especially since unlimited tower visits were included. We weren't happy with the lack of view in the first room (3rd floor) and the hotel moved us to the 11th floor for the second night. The room was big and the bathroom a reasonable size. No fridge/minibar, but everything else was there. The hotel is a couple of miles from the centre of the Strip, but there is a stop right outside the hotel for the 'Deuce' bus, which runs up and down the strip. If you just want to use the hotel as a base for exploring Vegas, then this hotel offers unbelievable value for money!

Our spa room was very nice for the amount we paid. The overall hotel was very nice. Free parking was also nice bonus.

good clean rooms

Our room's wall was shared with the elevator which we could hear all hours of the night. Our commode did not consistently flush properly. When we called housekeeping, they were very prompt to come to our assistance --- however the problem never did quite go away!

Very nice rooms and location of the hotel was great. Minor improvement needed in lighting in the room but, otherwise, an awesome hotel and casino.

They didn't have any non-smoking rooms when we checked in so we upgraded and paid a little more....that was inconvenient. Drinks are SO expensive in Las Vegas now. It used to be a cheap vacation to party and have fun. We paid $5 for bottled domestic beer!!! Do they really need to jack the prices up that high when most people's budgets are so tight already? The slots were also not paying out much at all. This won't boost the tourism back up.

I was disappointed in the visit. There was not even a coffee maker in our room, the restaurants were lacking and the buffet was ridiculously priced - $20 even for hotel guests. Also, the drink service on the casino floor was sloth-like. I was not pleased with the stay.

Because I booked through Hotels.com we were treated differently. The hotel staff was not as helpful as we have previously experienced when visiting Vegas. It was hard to find things inside of the Stratosphere. Our room did not have a tub in the bathroom and the counter space was limited. The casino area was small. The pool was nice but it closed pretty early. Lucky's cafe had a pretty good breakfast. The hotel was not really near anything so we spent a fair amount of time walking to other locations. It was a ok place to visit but I would not recommend staying at this casino.

The hotel was too far away from the strip. Even with the mono rail (which took too long to get to and get from)the time it took to get to the main part of the strip took for ever. The hotel is in a bad part of Vegas (have to walk over a block to get to the mono rail) (bad area).

The real deal was getting the 2 for 1 pass and the free Tower access; otherwise I would have had to pay since I was going to visit the hotel just to visit the Tower.

The hotel was decent, rooms could have been a little nicer but weren't bad. I would recommend staying there.

Great deal and the rides on the roof are awesome!

Exelente por el precio ... Can beat the price... Great room , not so much to do in Hotel besides the attraction on the top... Great food , but far away from the action...

It was good for the price. It was far from the strip but i only stayed there for one night so i didnt mind. I wouldnt stay there if I was staying in Vegas for longer.

Hotel room was clean looking, however there was a crack in the tub that you couldn't see until you were in it, and the room reeked of cigarettes! We are occasional smokers, and the smell was offensive even to us.

Very nice and comfortable room. The parking area was a bit difficult to get to and from, only one way in. over all great choice and great price. Room service was fast and the food was great.

The hotel was on the North end of the strip. It is located near a couple of restuarants for convenience. The bar located in the hotel was accomidating. They had good coupon specials and a good restuarant inside.

Guess service was prompt and cordial. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. It is a little off of the main part of the strip but if you have transportation you few minutes away from Fremont and the south end of the strip. You also get free unlimited accesss to the tower which is $15 per person.

The towels were very old and had changed from white to a light yellow.

Everything it's great about this hotel:clean rooms,fast service,friendly and helpfull staff, low price ,fun at the tower, etc. But one thing: location. Even thou it's located on the Strip,it is kind a far from other atractions. But if you don't mind a short walk (15-20 min) it's a great choice:) Definitly we will stay there again.

Our stay at the Stratosphere was excellent. We enjoyed the connivance of the restaurants and shopping areas. We were able to walk the strip and participate in other activities. I would suggest 2 things... -the pool stay open to at least 12 mid night. -registration staff should direct its customers to the discount area to take full advantage of the coupons and savings while at the hotel.

When I got to my hotel room, my key cards did not work, and I had to wait for security to open the door. I called the front desk to ask for new keys, and the bellman gave them to me, however they did not work either. He told me that security had to come to clear the pin (or something like that). After some waiting at the hotel room, I eventually called to see if security was coming to do so. The security guy came, but he didn't know what he was supposed to be done and called the facilities guy. The facilities guy didn't know what to do either. The bellman came back and I told him neither the security guy or facilities guy knew what was wrong with the lock. He called for security, but they refused to send someone. I ended up having to change hotel rooms and had to order room service because I couldn't leave the room.

The Observation Tower on floor 108 was remarkable. Room was comfortable, service was great.

I had stayed at the Stratosphere before but only for one night so I knew how far away from everything else it was, but the price was great so I went for it. The rooms are pretty new and the housekeeping staff was did a great job. I ordered room service a lot and it always arrived within 20 minutes and was pretty tasty. All of the staff that I encountered were pleasant and helpful. The only negative aspect of the Stratosphere is location, but it is close to the Sahara and the tram is available there.

Room was very clean and comfortable. For some people it might be a bit too small. For us it was more than we expected for this price. The only thing we did not like was the smell in the corridor and in our room. As if someone smoked in it before.

All I can say is WOW! It was amazing and everyone MUST see the tower!!!

The hotel staff was very nice and everyone was very friendly. I knew that the hotel was on the north end of the strip but I did not anticipate the distance from the main strip attractions. We did find out about the bus service for $7.00 for 24 hours and utilized that to get around, otherwise it was a lengthy walk. The sink smelled like sewer every time you opened the sink. That needs to be corrected.

Great room, great rate.

I really liked the hotel itself. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The only thing that was kind of a pain was that the hotel is at the very end of the strip. They have a great bus system but I would have preferred to be closer to the action.

At the Stratosphere you are located midway on the strip between "Old Las Vegas"and "New Vegas". We had a BALL!!!!!! Good location, good food and Great Service!!!!!

Nice pool area. Room was large. Supprised that the t.v. was not a flat screen. Rust stain in bath tub from hand rail was the only thing in the room that made it less then perfect.

This hotel was a lot of fun! The rides on top of the Stratospher were the best part of our vacation. The observatory was amazing for people who didn't feel as brave. It was free for patrons, and $13 for non patrons. It's not on the main strip, but about a mile away, which worked out well for us. They actually gave us an upgrade to a suite for free. They were very accomodating.

The room was clean and big. The bathroom was disappointing there were rust stains on the wall in the tub area. But it was clean other wise. It was my partners birthday and the hotel was nice to upgrade our room to one with a view. The air work great which was very important because it was 100' outside. The pool was large and had ample space for lounging.

The rooms were small but very clean we were close to the elevator and all night we here nosies and from the rides too. But over all it was a nice place to stay.

If you are not looking for much in a hotel room and not looking to spend much $ then this is the place for you. Been to Vegas at least 20 times and I will stick with the main places on the strip from now on. Might of been located downtown instead of near the strip.

the employees were very nice and kept the hotel clean at all times, front desk was helpful. However the walls were paper thin and we could hear everything going on arount the other rooms. The rides on top of the hotel are too loud and can be disturbing when you are sleeping. Overall the hotel was good, great price
