The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.I would recommend it to anyone.It is also very close to city centre.I will definitely be staying there on my next visit.

If you are visiting Krackow on a budget this is a good hotel. It is 5-10 minutes walk from the centre of town. The rooms are small but clean. The shower is strong and hot water plentiful. Breakfast is fine with cold and hot dishes. The staff are helpful with booking tours, taxis etc. All in all perfect for the traveller looking for something better than a hostel but still very cheap. The hotel is old but kept clean.

Large hotel, kept in good condition, close to the city centre al all the main attractions. In fact, I didn't need to take public transport at all. Walked everywhere which it was good.

The hotel is old, communist style concrete building at a v busy road, relatively close to the centre. It's dark and gloomy, the beds are awful, when asked to change, I was told all beds are like this. The food is very basic too. Can't recommend this one in any way, even at the budget price it comes at.

We were assigned a room on the second floor, facing the very noisy street. The hotel would not consider a request to move us to the quiet side that faced a park. Returning after dinner, we found that many of the other second floor rooms were occupied by partying teenagers, with the parties spilling out into the corridor. The desk clerk's response to another request for a room change was to shrug her shoulders and say that there would be noise on all floors. I had paid for a "superior" double room. I learned from another couple staying in the same hotel that their lower rate included breakfast. Our "superior" rate did not. Overall, a bad experience.

Where to begin?! The hotel is a good bit out of the city, with a lovely view of the highway. We were 'greeted' by unfriendly receptionists who practically threw our key at us. We went up the stairs to the room which had the most impractical use of space I have ever seen. The porch area was walled off and was the same size as the bedroom. There was a smaller sitting room which had a couch, covered in a dirty throw. The bedroom itself was big enough only for the two tiny beds that it housed, which had only a foot between them. I had booked a double room, by the way. The room was what I would expect of a bad hostel, the bedsheets appeared unwashed. Part of the window was boarded up. The room was much too warm and stuffy, however you could not open the window. Our booking was only for one night, and being students we wouldn't be too fussy, but ten minutes after arriving at the hotel we checked out. Normally I wouldn't bother filling out the review section, but I would hate for anyone to encounter this hotel and its very rude staff.

10 min walk to city centre, ideal for tram and bus services, Bus 292 to and from airport opposite hotel, Hotel does not look a lot from the outside but quite nice and clean but basic inside. All major tours go from this hotel.

The youngest member of our party was writing a thesis on Auschwitz and we all wanted to see Krakow. The hotel is excellent value and situated just 10 minutes from the city centre square. We had a very enjoyable weekend in a comfortable hotel surrounded by hospitable people. If you have a party of around 6, as we did, it is worthwhile pre-booking minibus travel to and from the airport and for your visits out. Thank you.

My wife and i stayed at the Hotel Cracovia from Tuesday 10th February till Saturday 13th February. The hotel was easy to find. We got the bus from the airport, and had been told it was right beside the football ground. From the outside it looked very ugly and a definite throwback to the Communist years that had dominated Poland for so long. However once inside, it was beautiful at the reception and the staff were very very friendly and helpful. Our room was small but it was clean and tidy and our maid was in everyday industriously cleaning it. We gave her a good few Zlotys and exchanged hugs with her! The hotel was about 1km away or a 10 minute walk from the old town and square. It was a nice walk into the town. We visited Auschwitz (which was very very sad and emotional) and the magnificent Salt mines! It was fantastic! Krakow was such an easy city to walk about that we didn’t once use a tram. To get to the Salt mines we used a wee yellow mini bus which left from near the Shopping centre and cost about 50pence! It was excellent and the driver showed us where the mine was, On our return we took the train to Krakow again this was fifty pence! i would recommend Krakow to anyone seeking an interesting and also a laid back break too. If you are thinking of going to Krakow don’t just think about it do it! We intend to return very soon!

Good location, only 10 mins from the Market Square. Clean hotel, room cleaned every day. Fridge, TV, Radio, Shower, Bath, lots of very very hot water. Very large hotel.

Only problems is my lake of Polish skills. The desk kept attempt me to use mail. After thinking about it I believe maybe they were thinking email. However they never once help with finding a computer or a mailbox. But everything was done up nicely as long as you did not need to speak.

Aging hotel with shaby looking exterior however has good looking reception and bar areas. Rooms again old but very spacious (superior) with entry room, small louge with tv, chairs and dresser, bedroom and large bathroom (small bath though!). Not too far from centre but about 10mins walk. Cleanliness was top notch and in general staff were good but reception staff let it down.

We spent 8 nights and found this hotel very convenient to everything. Many tours leave from right out front. Also bus lines and tram stop right there. In Walking distance to the Reynek Glowny and Jagiellonian University and the Park. The Art Museum is directly across from the hotel. Our room had a refrigerator and hot pot. which was useful. We (daughter 21 yo and Mom ) really enjoyed our stay. July - Aug 08

No WiFi in the rooms ,poor condition of hotel ,and the service was very poor !

Cracovia was great, looked awful outside but inside was very good, newly remodeled. Casino and off license underneath and under a 5 min walk to city center. Could not aske for more. Hugely recomended.

Well first and foremost, if you are driving this location is excellent, a couple of turns off the main roads and you arrive at the hotel!. What was not advertsised that you can aprk directly outside the hotel for approxinmately 10 GBP per day in a secured carpark!

the reason I chose this hotel is because the bus picked us up for the Auschweits-Birkinau tour, which was nearly worth the price..it was located near the bustling town square in a nice neighborhood..the desk people, depending who you spoke with, had varying degrees of helpfulness and warmth.

Hotel easy to get too, bus two nine two from airport, stops outside. Hotel clean, my only comment bed not comfortable. Close to Old town twenty minute walk

The hotel was just meh. The room was tiny, but clean. The staff was okay, not wonderful. The surrounding area wasn't the best, but not too far from tourist attractions. The biggest problem I had was the groups of incredibly loud teenages screaming and carrying on in the hall. I've never seen a hotel allow this before, and was not impressed. Also, I do not recommend the restaurant, nor the bar. Pricey and not very good.

It was a clean hotel, however the staff in the hotel where very unhelpful and generally unpleasant to us during the duration of the stay. Great city, worth seeing but stay away from this hotel.

The hotel and room was clean, staff was courteous and pleasant. When we needed a hairdryer, the staff brought one to our room immediately. Central to tourism destinations and staff was knowledgeable about where to go and what to do. The Sunday brunch buffet was great with lots of choices.

The hotel was a good location only 10 minutes walk into the centre. Staff very friendly and run alot of trips straight from hotel.

Although there are some positive points to the Cracovia (large bedroom and bathroom, breakfast is fine, rooms are clean and it's only 10-15 mins walk into the centre) we wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone other than the budget traveller who's just looking for a cheap place to stay. Our room smelt awful, the electrical circuit in our room which controlled the TV and plug sockets fused five times during our 3 day stay and the overall the decor is dreary and dated. Krakow is a lovely town but if we ever go back we'll be looking for a hotel much nearer the main market square that can offer more comfort, style and reliable electrics than the Cracovia.

På grunn av varmen, ønsket jeg å ha vinduet åpent, noe som medførte at man hørte trafikken veldig godt. Ellers var det veldig hyggelig betjening. Fikk anledning til å beholde rommet uten ekstra kostnad til sendt på dagen på grunn av sen avgang på flyet.

Hotel Crakovia var ett utmärkt val för oss. Helt ok boende för den som vill klara sig lite själv och har ett utmärkt läge för att både gå och åka runt i Krakow. Rent och praktiskt och klart prisvärt, om än med lite öststatskänsla.

Det var for mye trafikkstøy og det var veldig lytt mellom rommene og gangen. Det trenger vel også en ansiksløfting da det var veldig slitt.

Alltid bruk taxier merket med "radio taxi", prisforskjeller på over 60 zlotty, Fra flyplass til hotellet koster det ca 50-70 zlotty, avtal gjerne pris med sjåfør før turen. steakhouse Sioux anbefales på det varmeste, bestill en "Big sherrif" klarer du å spise alt skal jeg bøye meg i støvet!!! rimelg, god mat og ikke akkurat barneporsjoner. saltgruvene og auschwitch/birkenau er et must, gruvene ligger ca 20 minutter med bil utenfor byen, auschwitch ca 1 time, det er flere tur opperatører som kjører daglige omvisninger, saltgruvene tar ca 4 timer og koster 100 zl inkludert buss t/r og guide, auschwitch tar ca 6 timer og koster 90 zl inkludert buss t/r og guide i begge leirene. Wavel castle er også et flott sted og gå rundt og se. det jødiske distriktet har massevis av små restauranter med polsk og jødisk mat på menyen til rimelige priser. for de fotball intereserte ligger hotellet ca 5 min fra stadion til cracovia og ca 15 min fra whisla krakow sin hjemmebane, begge lag spiller i øverste divisjon i polen.

hotellet var jätte bra. men det var jobbigt att sitta i baren på hotellet för då blev man ut tittad av hororna.. var väldigt obekvämt.. sen var tog vi frukost och det var jättedyrt! kostade lika mycket som vi betalade för hotellet.. kanske billigare om man bokar frukost hemifrån

Hotellet låg på behagligt gångavstånd från Gamla stan. Mycket prisvärt. Fräscht.

I ordered the single room. It was too small. The good news was that I upgraded the to a dobble room for only 60zl more. Staff were polite. Room was quite and clean. Recommended both for families as well as singles.

Savnet kjøleskap på rommet. Var på tannbehandling og var ikke bestandig i form til å spise i spisesalen

Hotellet gir meg en flash back til 80 tallet, der mangel på oppussing og vedlikehold ikke er utført på mange år, personellet på hotellet var hyggelige, men snakket utrolig dårlig engelsk. Jeg reiser gjerne tilbake til denne plassen, hotellet ligger sentralt med ca 5-7 min gange til hjertet av Krakow, sentrum. Får også kjøpt guidet tur til forskjellige opplevelser, saltgruver osv........totalt sett er jeg nøgd, men hotellet trenger en oppjustering av standard

Hotell krakowia var verkligen prisvärt. personalen var jättetrevlig och svarade på frågor, bokade taxi osv. Det var alltid rent och snyggt i vårat rum. att notera är dock att personalen var morgonpigg. Ville komma o städa ca 08.30 varje morgon. Så sätt ut skylten do not disturb. Men hotellet var bra.

Hotellet ar ett gammalt oststatshotell och tyvarr lever det kvar i mentaliteten hos personalen. Aven om nagra av dem ibland svarade trevligt pa fragor fanns det inte en antydan till ett leende. Hotellet ar ju billigt med Krakowmatt och faktiskt ganska prisvart, men man far vara beredd pa service som jag ovan beskrev och att trafiken utanfor hotellet hors ordentligt dygnet runt

Tänk på att frukost sällan ingår i priset och kostar ca 100 kr/person att köpa till på plats trots att den är högst medioker, så ät den på något café i centrum istället. Man får det man betalar för - med tanke på prisnivån och läget så är det ett helt ok hotell.

Hotellet holder en helt grei standard er rent og har god service

Im Prinzip war alles O.K. Was nicht gefiel,war,dass im Hotelpreis das Frühstück nicht mit eingeschlossen war Weiterhin ist meiner Meinung nach der Preis für eine PKW-Bewachung von 15,00EURO /Nacht ungerechtfertigt. So gut ist die Wache auch nicht!
