Worst rooms, in non smoking rooms it had left over of cigarettes, pipe, and small glass like pipe as if somebody had used for some drugs usage. rooms a/c wasnt good, the remote wasn't there in the room. for every single thing had to go to the front desk which happened to be very far no room service. it was actually just like a motor inn. i wud if i ever stayed in a motor inn it wud be much better. the receptionist had her boyfriend on the desk with her. wudn't recommend in the worst scenario also.

We requested for a non smoking room and when we entered the room it was smelling of cigarette. It took a lil bit to get a different room. We also had requested for 1 King and 1 Double bed but we got both double beds. The only plus of the hotel was its proximity to metro and quick travel to DC

I felt that it was unhealthy for me to inhale the air in the room where I stayed. By looking at the walls, the carpet, and the blanket, it was easy to tell that the hotel room was not well-maintained, unfortunately. People at the front desk were kind and decent, but I had a similar experience at another Days Inn years ago. This was the first attempt to be at Days Inn since then. I was disappointed, but was not surprised.

I think it's a nice hotel to choose from. You would find all the basic amenities for the price you pay. The breakfast was also reasonable. Unlike other days inn you would not find all the items in the breakfast menu..Overall, the stay was good and I would definitely recommend this hotel..

I felt really comfortable in the room. It was very clean and the hotel attendants were very courteous and made sure that I had all that I needed for my stay. Unlike other hotels, I saw not one bug in the room again, the room was awesome. It was conveniently located near many stores and restaurants where I didn't have to travel far for what I needed. Thank you Days Inn

Hotel staff was very helpful, helped with casb each day of stay. Adequate breakfast each morning for my needs, had one internet which could be congested, but I was able to find open time each day. Pool was not open, but I was too busy to use it anyway. This was a good location for work at National Archives II - about 1.9 miles away by cab . This is my second stay on Baltimore Avenue. I feel I got a good stay for the deal that was offered at the time I booked. I would consider staying here again.

Not a bad room for what it cost. External areas need some work, but the room was good.

This place was OK if you just wanted a place to sleep. If you are looking for luxury, NOT HERE! It had some nice features like continental breakfast and internet access but the hotel itself looked rather run down...rooms were OK once inside.

I really liked the location right next to the University of Maryland. Also important for me was that it had Parking which is often hard to find in the D.C. area. The room was clean and I enjoyed the complementary breakfast.

I was satisfied with the hotel for the money I paid. I was disappointed that a large group was in the lobby having breakfast. I couldn't sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee. the chaperons had little control on this group of teens/young adults. In any case, making a left turn into their parking lot or right turn out of the parking lot is difficult.

The bad news was that our sink and tub both didn't drain, our room was filthy, the mattress was uncomfortable and smelly, our shower never got too hot, the blow dryer only worked for 2 minutes at a time before it overheated and it was just a really poor choice, even for the price we paid. We only stayed one night but if we were staying for any longer, I would have switched hotels. The good news was that the continental breakfast was pretty good but the coffee runs out really quickly. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Our room was damp with a leaky faucet in the bathtub we couldn't wait to leave!

I wasn't looking for an outstanding place, and that's what I got. The price was good, the location was convenient, but right on the road. The room was clean enough, bare essentials. There was no fitted sheet on the bed, but the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean. If you're just looking for a safe place to lay your head, it's a good bet.

Did not enjoy this hotel at all. Other guests that were there ran up and down halls, using profanity and banging on doors until 2 am. Rooms were not clean. When our group checked in, one of the beds was unmade and had dried vomit on the pillowcase. Steps leading to our floor were sticky! Heat was hard to regulate, either too hot or too cold. Would not recommend for families with children!

Needed an overnight stay close enough to Washington DC, and Days Inn at College Park fulfills all the needs. Have stayed here before, and I noticed improvements in room maintenance and the available breakfast menu. Would recommend for one or two nights on a business trip.

Good for the price and the room needs improvement

The room looked dated and the decorum was very plain. The lobby had a computer with internet, flat screen TV and breakfeast had a good selection. The price was the lowest I could find in the area, and so I think it was good for its price.

I wasn't expecting much sin I had read other negative reviews and it was the cheapest we could get. It was conveniently close enough to downtown Washington, about 25 minutes, and it's not a bad place to stay for a night or two. The beds were comfortable and the a/c worked great. But if your picky about cleanliness or service, this hotel is not for you. The staff was friendly, but the room needed some help. Poor vacuming, dirty walls, and the equipment in the bathroom (blower and coffee pot) were in poor condition. The mirror in the bathroom was sideways, about to fall off the wall, but the shower worked great and the tub was clean. Overall, it needs improvement, but for a one night stay, not bad for the price.

When I walked thru the door I noticed the carpet was not vacuumed, even with the lights on the room seemed somewhat dim. On the bright side..the price paid for this room was great and it also included breakfast which cinsisted of Cereal, muffin, danish, coffee, bagels, and fresh fruit.

My mate has not yet forgiven me for my decision for choosing " DAYSINN" ! now better known as.... ROACH HOTEL !

Continental breakfast needs improving, like making more coffee when asking for it, basically we were ignored!

This hotel is the cheapest within a reasonable distant of Washington, D.C. It was just a three minute drive to the metro station, and then a short Metro (subway) ride into the city. They do well to keep the hotel clean, and if a problem arises they have no problem finding the remedy.

This is certainly a hotel that is relatively cheap compared to others in the areas. Thus it is good if you are thinking about living cheap and save to have more money to spend on other things. However, here are some things to know: 1. they did not have the air conditioning on when we got to our room = hot and humid first night = harder to sleep 2. the pool they have is shared with another hotel 3. the juice machine may need some cleaning.

Each staff member we encountered was very friendly. Our TV wouldn't work, so they brought us another one. The breakfast wasn't bad. Although the hotel is on a VERY busy street, we only heard emergency sirens...no other traffic. It is close to bus stops (no crosswalks so you must run) and a few restaurants. The desk attendants changed $ for us for the buses. I did see a couple of roaches in the lobby...

When I opened my door the morning of our stay, I noticed that water was dripping from the overhead balcony onto my balcony, and had a strong distinct smell of bleach. I had to stay away from the railing to keep the bleached water from dripping onto my clothing and the bag that I was carrying to the car. As I walked along I noticed that water was dripping the whole length of the walkway, and that it seemed to be a common practice. At the front desk they told me that the manager was not at the hotel to discuss the problem with me.

First off I must say that I look for the best deal period. I was in Iraq during the ground war in 03 and I personally can sleep anywhere. Second, I believe that hotels are for sleeping. When I'm on vacation i don't "live" in the hotel. I look for price, cleanliness, internet access and neighborhood, everything else isn't needed. My wife and I went on a three week north eastern vacation and this was by far the worse hotel. The wife smokes so I got a smoking room, HUGE mistake! The windows don't open in this place! The room was terribly musty and the smell was uneasy. The safe didn't work and we were able to switch rooms with no hassle at all, the staff was very nice and polite. The neighborhood wasn't the nicest either, but about two miles from the metro. Does have WIFI. I will never stay there again, I would rather sleep in my car.

I took a friend down to DC so he could catch a plane the next day. Days Inn offered rooms that were comfortable and ideal for that type of stay. The price was good for what we got.

Staff at the hotel were not very friendly at all. They came across with a "What do you expect for such a cheap price?" attitude. Service was slow and seemingly rendered grudgingly. Breakfast room was not well stocked throughout the whole breakfast period either. Would have been a good deal for the price if these issues had not been present.

black mold on the walls / ants, potato bugs and cockeroaches in the rooms / air conditioner and door lock broke / I can not believe this place would ever be recommended

bathroom was very small and hard to move around. had no hot water to take a shower.
