clean roomy friendly people very helpful

this hotel is in a great location with almost everything in walking distance. it was great value for the price we payed. the only thing i have to say is the pool hours were weird; upon check in we were informed that pool hours were from 2pm-8pm.

Its an ok hotel to stay at for a night or 2 I dont think my back could take more than 2 nights on the beds though. Also call ahead to confirm your room and make sure its what you booked and let them know what time you will be there. Check in is at 2pm, I got there at 2:15pm and they had my room wrong. The room they changed to put me in wasnt cleaned yet so I had to wait another 35 mins for the room to be cleaned.

The accomodation was wonderful and no complaints.

The entire expireince was horendous, The shower was so wore out you had to stand with your feet on the edges so you would not fall though the floor, Went to get out and there were "poo" stains on the towel. The beds were ok, the staff was friendly. The pillows were the only redeming quality of this hotel, Ramada Should be ashamed!

Price was a factor for me and this was the least expensive on Hotels.com. But if you have major allergies to mold dust dirt etc. do not go here...rug made our feet dirty, after 2 hours both my son and I were having full allergy attacks....outlet didn't work for hairdryer and coffee..when checking out...asked the front desk clerk if there was a map of the surrounding area.....she didn't know of one and didn't know how to tell me to go..on phone for whole time we were there for breakfast...not with clients

Non-smoking room smelled very smoky, seemed almost like a motel rather than a hotel. Very close to highways, which was convenient. Helpful staff but location needs some remodeling. Room was very clean, just smelled like smoke oozed from the carpet, drapes and comforter.

Room was small and very dated--all you need to know is that hair dryer and iron were both bolted down--it's that kind of hotel/motel.

I got a little uneasy when the front page of the complimentary local newspaper had a story about the growing problem of prostitution at the hotels along the street where this one was located, but I didn't actually see any working girls in the area. The appearance of the hotel was alright. It was basically clean and in good repair, but there was something a little dingy about it. It didn't seem fresh and bright. Also, the traffic was very noisy. On the other hand, it was dirt cheap compared to most of the other hotels in the area. It's not exactly a resort, but if you're looking for a cheap bed and you're a sound sleeper, it's not a bad deal.

The staff was wonderful but the hotel itself needed improvement. There were no baseboards in the room which you could see the gap between the floor and the wall. The air/heater unit was inside the room which made our allergies go crazy. The beds were awful. This is a place for those that only wish to spend one night, not the whole week.

small rooms but ok. does kind of make you wonder why the desk clerk is behind bullet proof glass. all help at hotel need help with english.

It was 2 blocks from metro. Clean rooms. Needed updating.

The Ramada at College park is conveniently located, with respect to the university, and provides very good value in every respect.

The hotel is located right off the beltway which makes it easy to find, but you will hear all the fire trucks and traffic. It was nothing special, but it was not a dirty or dingy place either. The beds are not very comfortable, but we were really tired, so it wasn't a huge deal. Next time I will stay with family, but if I had to stay in a hotel again I would most likely choose the Ramada again just because it was a perfect location for our needs.

Intitially it looks like a clean motel. I had a room on the gorund floor about 30 feet from the front desk. Basic tv cable. I noticed first that I couldn't open the sliding door to the balcony, I could only open it about 3/4" which provided some fresh air. The room heater worked and warmed the room, but HOT or OFF seemed the only working options. Because I couldn't get much fresh air I spent the night turning the heater on or off and opening the slider or closing it to regulate the crushing heat or crummy cold of the room. The next morning I went to get coffee and a roll but just settled on the coffee and checked out asap. There was hotel resident there who was filling up a pitcher with orange juice and grabbing stacked plates of rolls, muffins, etc. She said, "I have to give the kids something to eat before they go off to school." In the dim light of in the parking lot outside, as I was getting into my car to leave the hotel, another resident came from out of the misty shadows and asked to use my cell because his was dead and he had to call for his work ride. I got in my car and locked the doors and peeled out of there without even putting on my safety belt. I could have been mugged, I could have been hurt. I was frightened by a stranger in that hotel parking lot. DO NOT CHECK INTO THIS HOTEL.

This was a nice place to stay, close to the interstate freeway circling Washington DC, but far enough that there was no freeway noise. The breakfast was very nice and complete. I would go back there if I were going to spend a few days touring in the Washington DC area.

It was a nice clean room, but the front desk staff was not friendly. She was more interested in talking to her co-worker than checking me in. Room was clean, plenty of room. Only problem sliding glass door was not insulated well, and you could hear outside traffic, but with heat on it was okay. Other than that pretty good. Close to metro system.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. IT WAS QUITE DIRTY. THE FLOORS IN OUR ROOM WERE DAMP AND IT WAS NOT BECAUSE THEY WERE JUST CLEANED. WALL PAPER WAS FALLING OFF. THE CEILING WAS COMING DOWN IN THE BATHROOM AND I EVEN SAW BUGS ON THE FLOOR IN THE BATHROOM. WE TRYED CALLING THE FROT DESK A NUMBER OF TIMES AND NO EVER ANSWERED THE PHONE. WE WENT DOWN AND ASKED FOR AN EXTRA PILLOW AND THE RESPONSE WE GOT WAS WE ONLY HAVE 2 EXTRA FOR THE ENTIRE HOTEL. VERY DISAPOINTED!!!!!

This hotel had the cleanest tub I have ever seen in a hotel. The rest of the room was just as good. Very close to the Metro Station. A couple of blocks. Great breakfast in the morning. 3 kinds of juice, waffles, sausage crossants, cereal, pastries, bagels & more. Little bit of a hard time getting out into traffic until you realize to pull into the middle lane. Then it got much easier. Would recomend this hotel to anyone visiting DC.

Hotel was easy to get to. It was in a great location,thirty minutes from Baltimore and ten minutes from metro.

Not a good hotel to stay. The environment is also pretty run-down.

clean, but don't stay if you want to swim...the pool doesn't open till noon and closes at 8pm...which are the hours you will most likely be out doing stuff on your vacation.

This hotel was close to UM. It was a little hard to get out in the morning and one of the exit way has a lot of blind spot when you are trying to pull out. The room was very hot when we first arrived but after we left the ac running and went to dinner and return the room was cooler. We had a hard time getting the door open with the key. But, all in all it was ok. I would stay here again. JW

Stayed here for U. of Maryland orientation with our daughter. Its proximity to the university was probably its only advantage. It is an old hotel, and needs updating. Our room was on the street side and noise from the busy road went on well into the night and again early in the morning. The complimentary breakfast was mediocre, cereal, bagels, waffles, toast, danish, juice and coffee. Not much room to sit and have breakfast, 2 or 3 small tables and 2 small sofas. I have stayed at much better places for the price we paid at the Ramada.

hotel within driving distance to the metro line which is an easy way to Washington, DC. Continental breakfast not very impressive, but better than nothing.

This hotel is badly in need of updating but the rooms were clean. The elevator door stuck closed frequently, the screen door on my tiny balcony was leaning against the wall and the floor under my shower was notable "soft". The close proximity of the University of Maryland was the reason for my choice. The room doors are interior and a key card is needed for access to the hotel except through the main lobby. This made it a more secure choice for single traveler.

I was very satisfied with my stay at the Ramada Limited College Park. The rooms were clean and smelled fresh! But make sure you ask for a room within the hotel. It appears they are nicer than the ones located outside of the hotel. Great accomodations for the money!
