SUPER 8 MOTEL - COLLEGE PARK/WASH DC AREA - College Park

Price was right & the staff was efficient & pleasant

On arrival we were greeted by a very rude and unhappy women from behind a bullet-proof glass wall, it was as if we were a bother to her, we were directed to our room which we found was not a non-smoking room (we called the desk and were told the hotel was full), the internet did work well, and the beds were clean. The bathroom was old, but clean, there was no soap or shampoo. The morning breakfast was a joke, juice/milk, brusied fruit, and some kind of bread, we went out to eat. The best thing was the desk clerk when we checked out, she was the polar opposite of the women who checked us in. She stated that she was soory about the treatment and would look into it.

if you have a pet, know that there is only one room where pets are aloud and it is a smoking room. my wife and i do not smoke and had no choice but to move to that room after being put in a no smoking, no pet room.

The stay was ok, but I just feel it's overpriced for the area and ammenities. I stayed at another area hotel for less and got more. I also think hotels need to upgrade the amount of pillows they give guests as well as more comfortable Comforters. Those things can feel a bit icky at times and kind gives me the he-be jeebies.

When we got to our room, the alarm was beeping inside the room and had been for hours apparently. I'm surprised the other guests did not complain about it. The room was either too hot or too cold. If you had the heat on then it got way too hot and if you turned the heat off then it got way too cold. There was no way to get it "comfortable" in the room. The shower head was torn out from the wall. The overall atmosphere of the area was disturbing and felt unsafe. We would not go back again.

Basically what I expected for the price. The staff was less than enthusiastic !

When we arrived we were told our roon did not have any air. So we took a smoking room praying that we got another room by morning. This was the worst night o my family life. We coould not sleep the smoke in the curtains, bed, carpet it was awful .. I guess it was smoke room or air condition! The rooms we not clean and the cleaning staff had a augment in the hallway. The locate was great close to the UM.

This motel was right down the street from the university which is what we wanted. When we first got to the room it was presentable, but as soon as we sat down on the beds we all started itching... although we didn't see any, we're pretty sure that there were Bed Bugs hiding in the mattresses. To make matters worse, the sheets on the beds did not have any wrap-around elastic, which means as we slept the sheets kept on sliding off... basically we spent a great deal of the night sleeping on bear mattress. If you're looking for a cheap motel with close access to the University of Maryland, I would recommend it, but make sure you bring your bedding, a can of Lysol and sanitizing wipes...

I was surprised to see that when we got there not all of the beds in the room were made and the staff were not the most enjoyable people. They were not rude but I did not feel welcomed. I guess this is probably not much more than I could have expected for the price I payed but I did not really enjoy the stay in the room and was very glad that it was only one night of our trip.

I was somewhat surprised by the room for the price range. If you are going to the University of Maryland for anything and you need a reasonable place to stay that is literally just minutes form the college this would be a good choice.

please fix your rooms, and dont use the same print twice in one room, soooooo tacky

très bon acceuil. l'hotel est bien situé. pas très loin de la station de metro pour se rendre à washingon. bon rapport qualité prix.

Liegt nah an einer Interstate, Essen und Shoppen ist alles in der Nähe.
