Best Western Hotel Berlino - Mediolan

We stayed in the hotel for just one night and Milan was just a stop over so did not have that high expectations. The hotel was easy to reach with lots of trams stopping near by even if it was quite far from the city centre. When we arrived staff was really nice and friendly and knew lots about the surrounding area and could advice us on a nice restaurant to vivit in the evening. When we checked out staff was a bit confused and disorganised though. The room was very nice but the bed rock hard! Room was facing the street so it was a bit noisy and we could also hear people in the rooms around us coming and going so not to recommend for the noise sensitive! We had to leave early in the morning to catch the train so came down for breakfast at the time when it was supposed to start. It was not ready for another 10 minutes or so which was a bit annoying and once we got our breakfast it was not a great one. However, based on the price we paid and the expectations, it was a very good stay

this hotel is a long ways from Milan. Its in the middle of no-where surrounded by apartments with lots of grafiti. The room was small and dirty compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Italy. There are few stores and no restaraunts near the site. Its in a farming area and smelled log cow manure. No AC so you have to leave the windows open. I'd never go back and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. gary

We stayed at this hotel thinking it was close to Central Station (Milano Centro). It was not near it and we had to take about a 15 minute taxi ride to get there. We were very pleased with the room though. It was roomy and clean. The beds were more comfortable than others we had experienced while on this trip. WiFi is available for free in the rooms and there is a computer center in the lobby for free if you do not have your own computer. Breakfast was also included. Some of the staff were more helpful than others but they all did answer our questions. They do keep your passport until checkout, but we had no problems because of that. This was an excellent room at a great price.

For people that are familiar with European hotels, and not expecting a large American hotel, this was great. It was right off the main street (Corso Sempione) going straight into the city center (centro) and right off the Piazza Firenze, a huge circle with 8 roads splitting off, and had tons of restaurants, stores, and a supermarket 2 blocks away at the Piazza Chiesa...all 5-10 minute walking distance. We drove in late, and there was tons of parking available on the street (and sidewalk) and there were still many restaurants and bars open. It was very easy to drive to the Duomo, but if you're not driving, all the major trolley stops were all right in the Piazza Firenze and Corso Sempione, 1/2 a block away from the hotel. The room was small, but clean and the bed had an awesome memory foam top, and the free WiFi internet worked great and the breakfast was a traditional plentiful Italian breakfast with cheeses and meats and a huge variety of breads, pastries, and cakes. Very tasty. The front desk was friendly, and everything was fine...not really more you can ask for, for such a reasonable price.

It has a minimalist style and a little on the cold side in the customer service area. The hotel was clean, and the room was nice.P Located about 20 minutes outside of the hotspots. Milan was our least favorite city in Italy. I would recommend a drive to lago di como and lugano and the surrounding areas as they are only about an hour 1/2 away, but much prettier than Milan. If you are in a rental car, buckle up in the city because it is nuts to drive in if you are used to driving in the states.

For the price of hotels in Milan it wasn't bad, the train(trolley) is on block away and gets you to the Duomo in 10 min. There was a little foul smell coming from the pipes in the bathroom and the hotel staff is not too friendly. But we didn't go to makes friends and the room was very decent and modern. There is no FREE PARKING, so don't get caught!!!

Walls are so thin you hear everything from surrounding rooms. Noise continuing until after midnite Had to call front desk to get things quieted down. Seems to be a convenient stop of "escorts" who render there services to guests and then leave after buisness is transacted. Very disappointed to find this since I had stayed at the Berlino many times over the last 5 years. Management should be aware that rooms are being utilized for this type of SERVICING...

The public transportation is great here. From the central train station, take bus 91 and there is a stop right across from the hotel. The bus driver helped us get there and helped with our luggage too, friendly people in Milan. The hotel is old since it is a budget hotel. The front desk isn't too friendly. Weird thing is when you check in they keep your passport until you check out. We stayed at so many hotels, and this is the only one that does that. Breakfast is served from 7-10, food is okay: yogurt, breads, croissants, cereal, ham, juice, coffee, and boiled egg. They don't respect the DO NOT DISTURB sign and they don't like it when you open the window. It is a bit stuffy in the hotel but the AC does work.

This hotel was surprisingly great. The bed was a bit too firm but not a problem. Getting to the hotel was a bit tough since we weren't familiar with the city. You will probably have to take a taxi and that will cost you. However, the staff is very good with helping you with public transportation and once we figured that out, getting around the city was easy and cheap. The hotel also has a great breakfast (anytime you can get a breakfast included in Italy, it helps!) Across the street from the hotel is a really cute place to eat. Also, around the corner and up the street from the newspaper stand, past the little overpass is an outstanding pizza place. Cheap and yummy! I didn't love Milan, but this hotel helped ease the pain of a strange city with a TON of graffiti! I recommend it

First up, this is a nice enough hotel and the room and breakfast was good...but...its a good 30 minute walk into town otherwise its trams or buses, which can be a bit of a pain when you don't speak Italian and don't know Milan well. Probably better if you're coming to one of the business fairs that are held nearby but if you can't find anything cheap in the centre then is a good value budget option.

It is an ok hotel for holidayers on a bargain break. it is approx 8 miles away from the San Siro and 10 miles from the Duomo and fashion districts. It is located in a quiet part of town although we did not feel as comfortable walking the streets at nights as i do walking the streets of Glasgow at night. The hotel room was clean and cleaned every day, however, the matress on the bed was very hard and it was 2 single beds pushed together for a double which leads to the beds separating at night and ultimately nearly falling into the gap created. The staff at reception never really spoke to us other than when arrived and left which is not what i expected. The "continental" breakfast was rather un appetising, McDonalds appealed more than there breakfast. If you want a hotel for a city break, there are far better for the same price and i would only recommend this hotel to students or people who do not mind as long as they get a bed (even if it is hard )!!

The Hotel is fairly easy to get to if you have a good map or use map quest. The price was pretty good and the breakfast was a pleasant surprise with the good quality, quantity, and variety of food. The neighborhood seems a little sketchy but our rental car was just fine parked around the corner. There is a good Chinese restaurant on the same street, as well as a good pizzaria. Trams are close, and even a nice walk to the Duomo doesn't take too long and is a straight shot down from the hotel. The parking garage nearby is always open, so that means it's also sometimes noisy when you're trying to sleep. Overall, it was a nice stay.

seems out of the way on the map but is a very short cab ride from the central train station and the #19 tram passes by only one block away and it goes right to the city center. the hotel itself is on a quiet side street and is in a very convenient location using public transportation. would recommend it

Très propre, Très bien situé le personnel est agréable et disponible. On se gare sans trop de difficulté( attention cependant de bien surveiller les panneaux d'interdiction de stationnement nombreux et complexes)

Hotellet var mycket trevligt och tåg,buss förbindelserna var bra.Däremot kändes området inte så tryggt, men är man inte ute och springer så sent är det ok.Det fanns också en stormarknad/mataffär Iper ungefär 10 minuter därifrån.

Camera pulita, non troppo grande. Colazione povera e poca scelta. Gentilezza del personale. Piuttosto lontano dal centro. Mezz'ora di mezzi pubblici almeno.

Best Western Berlino Hotel a répondu pleinement à nos attentes. Il est calme,propre, bien dessérvi en transport public, les employés sont sympathiques et le buffet de petit déjeuner est diversifié et intéressant. Je recommande cet hotel à toute personne souhaitant visiter Milan

Bra och prisvärt hotell ca 4 km från centrum. Ca 4 km till S. Siro stadion(Milan).Bra städning, trevlig personal. P-hus finns att hyra brevid hotellet. Ok frukost.

Hôtel trés confortable mais surtout trés bien situé pour se rendre dans le centre de Milan(trams,autobus à proximité immédiate)et sur les lacs(A8 et A9 trés proches)

Det var et fint lite hotell, men det var veldig lytt. Man hørte folk prate på naborommet. Personalet var veldig service innstillte og snakket godt engelsk. Vær tidlig ute til frokosten da det raskt går tomt for brød/rundstykker. Området rundt hotellet er ikke særlig imponerende, men det tar bare 10 min med trikken til Sentrum.

Hôtel mal insonorisé - bruit des volets roulants et des conversations des chambres voisines dès que les gens parlent un peu fort. Il y a un parking mais 18 euros la nuit ... Petit déjeuner indigne d'un 3 bétoiles notamment la qualité du café à revoir "imbuvable" d'ailleurs la plupart des clients laissaient les tasses encore remplies sur les tables.

Gute Unterkunft - Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt/gut Personal könnte freundlicher sein. Wir haben ein Lächeln vermisst. Sonst war alles okay.

Das Hotel war ein kleines Stück ausserhalb der Inntenstadt, jedoch fahren in nächster Nähe Busse und Bahnen. Eine Empfehlung bei der Rückfahrt ist der Bus 57 der direkt vor dem Hotel hält. Das Frühstück ist typisch italienisch- eher reduziert.

Precis som andra beskrivit så är rummen mkt lyhörda. Eftersom vi visste det redan innan vi åkte så tog vi med oss öronproppar och det rekommenderas verkligen! Sängen var ngt hård och det var ett glapp höjdmässigt mellan de två bäddmadrasser som fanns i dubbelsängen. Frukosten var helt OK. Området är lite rough men inget extremt. Finns restauranger i närheten. Spårvagnarna 14 och 19 går väldigt nära hotellet, samt buss 90 som går via centralstationen. (Man kan e.g. ta metro från centralen till codorna där man tar nästa linje till lanza och kan byta till vagn 14 eller så åker man 14 från/till Duomo hela vägen till hotellet). Spårvagnsbiljetter säljs såvitt vi kunde se ej på vagnarna så se till att köpa dess på tunnelbanestationerna- det finns gott om biljettkontrollanter så det är inte värt att chansa!

bra pris, rummen var fina, platt-tv, många kanaler, sköna sängar. det enda man kan klaga på är att det var lite lyhört, man hörde andra ibland men det var inget som störde varken ro eller sömn. 100m till spårvagnsstation som tar dig till innerstaden. jättenöjd med vistelsen!!!

Helt ok hotell, inget direkt att klaga på och man får vad man betalar för.

Un Hotel Bello e pratico, le stanze sono gradevoli e i bagni comodi e confortevoli, l'ideale per chi deve lavorare intensamente e poi deve rilassarsi in totale comodita.

The hotel is located 4 km. from Milan citycenter, but there are lots of public transports to the citycenter. Nice hotel and fine rooms. Only problem was the extrem hard beds.

Hotel confortable et calme, mais il faut compter 20 min de tram pour rejoindre le centre ville: + 3 euros/pers/jour de transport. 40 min par jour dans un tram en bois datant de 1920 !! kitch

Très bonne prestation, excellent choix du petit dejeuner. A 1minute à pied de l'arret du tram 9 qui nous emène en 20minutes au centre ville. Le seul hic : les chambres ne sont vraiment pas bien insonorisées.

Preis-Leistung stimmt absolut. Saubere Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal, alles Bestens. Zwar nachts durch Verkehrslärm etwas unruhig, das war für uns jedoch kein Problem. Wenn man das Preisleistungsverhältnis sieht waren wir sehr positiv überrascht.

Ett helt OK hotell för en billig penning. Ligger en lite bit ifrån centrum men goda kommunikationer gör att det inte tar mer än en kvart dit. Ganska små rum men oklanderlig service i lugnt område. Begränsad men helt godkänd frukostbuffé. Klart prisvärt!

Alles gut, - bis auf die Parkhausgebühren des Parkhauses direkt neben dem Hotel (p/Tg 18,-? Keine Raucherzone im Hotel. Zimmer ist hellhörig.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix pour cet hôtel proche du centre-ville bien désservi par les bus et tramways. Accueil très sympathique. Des chambres agréables et bien équipées. Buffet du petit-déjeuner copieusement garni. J'y retourne sans hésiter.
