Beds were big and very comfortable. Location is perfect if your visiting University of MD. Beautiful surroundings, quiet, clean, just perfect. Price was incredible.

The hotel room was not as nice as the other Marriotts that I have visited, primarily because this was a small room with a bathroom that felt old. However, the decor was modern and everything was clean, comfortable, and for my trip convenient.

The hotel is nice and provides outstanding quality for what you pay. The hotel itself is located on the U. of Maryland campus. However, the closest metro station is in College Park which is a very shady area.

I flew to Baltimore for the birth of my gra to explain the grandson. I didn't have time to check in before going to the hospital. I called the Marriotto explain the situation. They were extremely cooperative. They held my reservation until the baby was born (5am the next morning). I checked in at 6:30am to get a few hours sleep and a shower. I will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

Well priced for the type of hotel, nice college location close to all UM stadiums.

Overall I thought that this hotel was a very good value for its cost. I stayed in a queen room, and although the room was not large, I thought it was perfect for myself for one night. The room was decorated nicely and was very clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was that I was unaware that I would be charged an additional $8 parking fee for the garage. Nonetheless I thought that this hotel was a great value, I would absolutely recommend it.

Upon check-in we were told that we would have to pay for our parking, which was never stated on Hotels.com site. Parking was $8/night because of UMUC. School was not in session though and had we known we were going to be charged that much we would've lied about having a car and parked for free on the street or at a meter and pay minimal fees. Also, we were offered "complimentary" newspaper for the morning. We said we'd like the USA Today. I know that it doesn't print over the weekend but we could've received the weekend paper -- we never got it. Also, the air conditioning wasn't working well the first night so we switched to a different room for the 2nd night. That went better, so that was the one bright spot staying there.

The environment is quiet and the price also is reasonable. But, I was unable to use my VoIP Telephony (Magic Jack), the port is blocked on your network.

The Inn and Conference Center was a lovely stay, especially considering the price I paid. Great fitness center with several treadmills, eliptical machines, and stairsteppers, as well as free weights and some nautilus equipment. Room was very comfortable and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. Only one complaint--the website makes it look like parking is included, but it costs $8 per day. Overall great--I would definitely stay again.

There was no mention of a parking fee at thw time of booking. When I arrived I was required to pay for parking; considering the location I was surprised to pay a significant charge to park. Otherwise my stay was fine.

I didn't pay an extravagant amount but I do think the room was small for it being a queen sized room and for what we paid for it. But location was great and free parking.

The hotel in general was great. Location was perfect. Our room was "cozy" when listed..and that was very true..The room we had was VERY Small..other than size of room...hotel was great

This hotel is located right ont he premises on University of Maryland's College Park campus. It was in a perfect location for our visit. The hotel was very clean, had resturants, work out facility, etc.

The hotel was great. The only glitch was that the Hotels.com reservation system was not working properly, so it took us awhile to check in. Other than that, we had a great stay.

clean rooms, comfy beds, great location if going to football games....only improvement needed at the lounge--nice but service there needed an upgrade. starbucks on location great though, and parking very easy with the garage. overall great stay.

I found this hotel to be a great value. The room was very clean and comfortable. The in room breakfast was very good and arrived exactly the time I had asked for. My son is a senior at the university and I have stayed at several hotels in the area. I found this to be the best value. This stay was less expensive than any other room I could find and turned out to be the best stay. My wife and I both agreed that our next visit we will again stay at The Inn and Conference center at Univ of Maryland.

Great location for visit to UMD and hotel services (restaurants, etc.) are up to the quality standards one would expect from Marriott. Disappointed with TV service: Widescreen HD Plasma with analog cable service.

The hotel was a major disappointment. The staff usually did not know what was going on and room service was non-existent. The fitness center was a usual minimalist collection of some treadmills, exercise bikes, weights, and one multi-purpose machine. The facility was not set up for handicapped access to the dining rooms that were in a separate building. The only bright spot was one of the restaurants, the Garden Room, that served a very adequate breakfast and a very good lunch.

It's about 30 mins from Wash.,DC. A little further than what was explained to us. There's very little to do in town and very few restaurants. It's best to just eat at the hotel or drive back to DC or to Inner Harbor. When we booked the property, we where told that the kids ate breakfast free of charge. The next day, when we went for breakfast, we were told that it wasn't applicable and that we had to be charged. Otherwise, our stay was ok. If the only thing you are concerned with is to get some rest, then this is the place for you. There's nothing to do there!!!

For the money, this Marriott needs to become more sensitive and respectful of privacy and quiet hours for working guests trying to rest between working away from home.

awesome service - was attending a business conference for four days and decided to stay another personal day, but wanted to avail myself of the hotel.com rate for the last day. An hour before check out, the hotel let me a)make new hotel reservation with hotels.com b) let me stay in the same room without checking out c) rechecked me in all on the phone - without moving out of my room. Food is great, location great and the parking was beautiful at 6dollars per day. Metro is close by to take into DC easlily as well.

I checked in at the beautiful new hotel. Unfriendly service at front desk. Was religated to a room in the conference center building. Dirty bathtub, peeling wallpaper, grey towels, hair, over-perfumed - with a smell like those hangers that cab drivers have. Front desk staff were unhelpful and unconcerned.

In general, it's very nice, clean and convenient. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful as well. The only issue I had was that when I called and specifically asked for a late check out they said they could let me stay until 1:00 or 2:00 at the latest and beyond that they would have to charge me for a half-day. When we got there, they said we couldn't have a late checkout. The woman's exact words were, "I don't know WHO you were talking to but we are booked for tomorrow and I can't give you that." First off, I felt like she was implying that I was lying, and secondly, they were not honoring what was promised to me over the phone. In the end, we did get to check out at 1:00, but that was only because my husband insisted they stick by their word.

I chose this hotel because I had business meetings at the University of Maryland College Park campus. It was VERY convenient. The surrounding neighborhood, however, is not what I expected in a college town. If you're looking for an exciting neighborhood with an active nightlife, or nice restaurants, this is not the place to stay. However, if you're going to the U of M campus and are comfortable taking the train into D.C., then it's definitely worth a shot. What's nice - the Starbucks in the lobby (although closed on Sundays), in addition to the three dining options in the hotel. The food is a little bit pricey, but it's not the worst I've seen in a hotel. What's not - the internet service is spotty; it's on the UMUC network and there is only support available M-F during business hours. For the rate I paid, I feel like this hotel exceeded my expectations.

The location was convenient since our meeting was in the conference center. However, for the price, the rooms seem old and need updating. There are no refrigerators/microwaves/etc in the rooms. The staff was very nice/helpful/friendly, recommended a great restaurant, but when we tried to order the drinks listed on the room service menu, no one seemed to know how we could do that. Finally, when they sent one up, it was 1/2 hour later and the ice was all melted...and the drink was $15.

When we checked in we were initially given the wrong room. They did correct this but it took a litle while. We were not happy with the resturants, excercise room and coffe being located in another building that required us to go outside to use those services.

I took my fiance' there to propose to her on Valentine's Day. She said it was the best experience she's every had. It was more for her than me. She loved the bed and the pillows. She loved the convience of the internet and location. The Room Service was a little late for dinner but the food was tremendous. Then Breakfast was awesome. We wanted breakfast at 9 and we got a knock at 9am exactly. This was the best hotel I've been to in a long time.

Our stay was lovely and the staff was very friendly. When we needed time to sleep in they gave it to us and when we needed a wake-up call they were right on time, they even arranged a ride to the airport when my sister's schedule conflicted. For families of students at the university the hotel is right on campus and the hotel staff is eager to help you find your way around.

The room was advertised as a "Cozy Queen" and it was indeed small. Bedding was an issue - fitted sheet coming undone and the top sheet and comforter failed also to stay put. Flat screen TV was nice touch. Although they have a Starbucks in the lobby, it was closed on Sunday and the sports bar on site could not keep up with the patron and room service orders Saturday night after the football game. They suggested we go elsewhare if we wanted to eat, which we did. Breakfast at the "Cafe" was very good, but not included with the room.
