Hotel Copernicus - Krakow

The hotel is situated right in the centre of Krakow and the major sites are within walking distance. Staff were all very helpful and we would certainly go again.

The AC did not work properly and because of it my room with window into the inside corridor was unpleasantly warm and muggy. I asked tree times for help but hotel personnel was unable to resolve this problem and did not propose any alternative solution. This hotel has great potential but as it is now does not deserve 5 star rating. Disappointment.

The Hotel Copernicus is simply beautiful. Both the public areas and our room were spectacular. The location is very convenient to Wawel Castle and other tourist areas but is still quiet. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

We stayed there for 3 nights in March 2009. Everything about this hotel is brilliant. The staff are very helpful, friendly and responsive. It is obvious they are happy working there. Breakfast is a wonderful experience and they serve fantastic coffee. The rooms are large and well furnished. Big comfy bed and beautiful marbled bathroom. Location is good, 5 minutes from the main square, castle, jewish quarter, bars and restaurants. Although centrally based the hotel is very quiet and peacefull allowing a good nights sleep. Will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel if you like old buildings with a unique atmosphere. It's like sleeping in one of the Wawel's castle rooms. Quite nice, however double room is far too big for a one person.

Stayed sat to wed. Lovoly place and staff couldn't be nicer. When we arrived the hotel manager introduced herself and as we hour early for room offered us seat in little room off reception where they struck up a fire in hearth and brought us coffee while we waited. Story typifies place. Restuarant lovely, expensive compared to others in city but quality of food and service is top drawer so maybe a special night would suit best. More like gastronomie. Location is beside castle and ten min walk to square-a nice walk too. About 20 min walk from jewish quarter- recommend once upon a time in kameriez btw- and half hour walk from train atation and huge shopping centre beside it. They are strolling though snow times so you could do it quicker, but why? Great bargains in shoes and clothes everywhere, about half price. Can't wait to go back especially in summer.

Small boutique hotel with outstanding service, convenient location and modern look in a medieval building. Brilliant restoration. Pricey but worth every cent. Personal greeting by the manager, and a truly remarkable staff.

All staff very helpful. However rooms not as comfortable as I would have liked. They were in keeping with the age and style of the hotel but lacked a comfort level. of a more modern hotel. Manager responded very quickly when air conditioning failed in room and offered us best suite. Restaurant first class for food and service.

Lekkert hotell med alle fasisiliteter. God service og restaurant med michelin-stjerne. Alt til lav pris. Anbefales!

Dejlig hotel med alle bekvemligheder. Smukt bygger ind i en århundredegammel bygning. Fantastisk beliggenhed lige midt i byen. Kan anbefales hvis man skal forkæle sig selv.

bel hotel mais austère. Des élèments de décoration un peu colorés par exemple réchauferait l' ambiance très monacale des chambres. L'insonorisation entre chambres laisse à désirer, mais nous avons pu changé et avoir une chambre sans voisins à la conversation bruyante.

Me and my wife (no kids!:-)) spent a weekend in this great place. Excellent value and great service. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Location perfect with walking distance. Huge room with a view of the Wavel castle. We can definitaly recommend Hotel COpernicus!

Nagy örömmel érkeztünk - egész jól oda tudtunk találni az iránymutatás alapján. Első meglepetés, hogy az autónk kissé messzebb, egy földes, kátyús udvarba lett leparkolva. Ezzel kapcsolatos második csalódás: a parkolásért a szálloda elhagyásakor elég borsos összeget kellett fizetni, amit előre nem közöltek. Második csalódás, hogy a részünkre átadott szoba ablakai a központi, lefedett étkező térre nyíltak. Természetes szellőzésre lehetőség egyáltalán nem volt. Ezt sem közölték előre. Dícséretes, hogy miután a személyzettel közöltem, hogy klausztrofóbiám miatt nem tudok ebben a szobában aludni, azonnal lecserélték, igaz egy tetőtérire, de ott legalább két 30x30 cm-es nyitható ablak volt. Zavart az is kissé, hogy bár kértük nem kaptunk számlát, mondván, hogy azt az utazási ügynökség fogja küldeni. Ezzel együtt jól töltöttük az időt Krakkóban.

Hotel Copernicus ligger perfekt plassert i utkanten av Krakows gamle bydel. Kun 100 meter å gå til Wawel, som er det gamle kongelige slottet, og ca fem minutters gange gjennom trivelige gågater til torget; Krakows hjerte. I tillegg er det kort gangdistanse til Kazimiertz, den gamle jødiske bydel. Her finnes utallige koselige restauranter, caféer og puber. Hotellet er meget stilfult oppusset i en svært gammel bygning. Det moderne er godt integrert i det historiske. Servicen er god og maten upåklagelig. Romslige rom og flotte badeværelser. Det er ikke tilfeldig at både den amerikanske presidenten og flere andre VIP'er har bodd her. Anbefales på det varmeste!
