Flemings Hotel Munich Schwabing - Monachium

The hotel was located within a 10 minute walk to the subway which was nice. The rooms are VERY small which means with 2 adults and one 6 year old we were walking on top of eachother and had little room for more than our suitcases. There are no drawers and barely any closet space so not so great for longer stays. Also, the bathroom ridiculously lacks privacy. The shower is practically in the middle of the room, with clear glass walls. The toilet had a frosted glass door. However, the breakfast is out of this world. We stayed at 4 different European hotels and this one had hands down the best breakfast. We weren't hungry until dinner!

Good standard modern hotel in good location away from city centre only five minute walk from lots of bars and restaurants. 3 minute walk from tube station and just 10 mins on tube to wonderful Marienplatz. Breakfast not fantastic but good. To order eggs and bacon. Reception helpful.

breakfast was great, clean overall and conveniently located in the Schawbing area. It's a bit of a trek though if you want to be close to the tourist attractions.

Nice hotel Good location

The hotel was not as close to downtown as I would have liked. That is my own fault for not paying more attention but it would probably keep me from staying there again. In general the hotel had a nice modern decor which is what drew me to the hotel in the first place. However, the style was inconsistent. Often the flooring was traditional which conflicted with the rest of the style. Not a big deal but if you are drawn to this hotel by the decor pictures it is probably not as good as it looks. The internet was free but the performance was poor. The breakfast was also included and was quite nice.

good hotel in a really good location,walking distance from english garden with lots of beer gardens, cost 55 euro to hotel in taxi from airport, 13 euro taxi to centre of munich shopping area,great service in hotel bar, happy hour 4.30 to 7.30 all cocktails 4.50 euro , cant beat that really, nice food as well, breakfast was good , room was very nice but not huge,would definitely go back.

Good location, nice hotel. Asked staff at Reception for a local map and a loan of an adapter - they didn't have either. Swimming pool was mentioned nearby but the girl at Reception said the nearest one was Olympia Park. We found a lovely swimming pool complex and park ourselves just 10 mins walk away! Breakfast was lovely.

The hotel has all of the bell & whistles of a boutique/business hotel. My focus was business and the hotel catered to that very well. The next time I am in Munich, I would strongly consider staying there.

Clean, modern hotel. Friendly staff, great Schwabing location. Rooms quite small but well equipped. Good breakfast!

This is a beautiful hotel with a great friendly and helpful staff. The bathroom was a little small but it was very modern and elegant.. The breakfast was everything you could ask for and the restaurant was also great food at a good value.

We were able to get a great rate through Hotels.com. The room looked like the pictures. It was a little small, but nice and clean. The shower/bathroom was nice. If you are a tourist it takes about 5 minutes to walk to the nearest subway station!

i enjoyed our stay in flemings hotel. The rooms although very clean are quite small but adequate. check in and check out was handled very effeciently by the staff. The location is good, quite close to two ubahn stations .

It was an excellent experience, and they were helpful and supportive for a friend that had special needs.

Hotel in good location near English Garden. Good and friendly service, with a nice bar and gym/health club. Only downside was that the free internet service was so slow, I couldn't use it!!

Clean, smart and functional. Made very welcome at reception. Short walk from U-Bahn station - only 40 minutes walk to the City Centre (Marienplatz) passing university with architecturally intersting buildings and into shopping centre. Excellent breakfast - good value.

I do recommend this hotel as it is in a good area, nici and helpful stuff, oh god they are beautiful. the room was good, comfortable and overally it is really recommended

Lovely neighbourhood

The hotel is nice with modern and interesting furniture and design but for touristic purposes is a bit too far from the centre

Comfortable, good value; so-so situation This hotel is about 25 minutes (U-bahn and walk) from the central part of Munich. My room was very clean, and comfortable, but on a busy road.

I really enjoyed the hotel. It's very chic and modern with excellent service and an amazing breakfast. The only problem we experienced was in the surrounding neighborhood about 3 blocks from the hotel. Following the recommendation of the staff we decided to walk to a nearby restaurant. Unfortunately our walk was cut short by an extremely intoxicated homeless man screaming and threatening us. Luckily I was with my husband but had I been alone or with a girlfriend this experience might not have ended as well. The walk to and from the U Train is fine but I would avoid the adjoining area.

An excellent business hotel 5 minutes from the centre by car. Quality staff, restaurant excellent, good rooms. Rooms in the main block far preferable to the annex at the rear. Only quibble, one of the main reasons for using that hotel is the free wifi: the quality of this service varies from mediocre to terrible.

This Hotel is just great. The room was spacious (for European standards) complete with inroom glass walled shower (got to try and install one at home somehow). Sure, the toilet door has opaque glass but with the light off, no worries, enough light shines through into the small room. Anyway.....a prudent husband/partner is not going to look.........are they? My wife and I are international travellers from New Zealand and Japan and we rate this hotel, the staff and the breakfasts as great. Staff speak excellent English and are very helpful. The local underground station is just a short walk away and easy to find and use. The hotel location may seem out of town but that's not really the case because of the handy underground. Resturants are close to the Hotel also. If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, reasonable priced hotel with great staff, good food, (and that wonderful shower) you surely would be hard pressed to beat this hotel. We have no hesitation in staying again.

Smart modern internal design, but friendly and welcoming. Very good breakfast, and a nice bar, more like a brasserie. Garage parking. Close to Schwabing's smart bars, and the English garden. Excellent value, if you get a special offer.

This hotel is very nice - especially if you are used to hotels in the U.S. The only difference is that the footprint of the rooms is very small, but the decor, cleanliness, etc.. is all that of a much more expensive hotel. Great value for the money. The only downside to the Flemings was that the service staff - especially the gentleman who checked me in - seemed annoyed that I was there. He didn't even respond to my questions and it was not because he didn't speak English. I did meet one very nice lady who also worked at the front desk - but it was only her 2nd night working there. She was VERY nice and even walked me to my room. The other 3 front desk clerks were somewhat rude and unhelpful. Otherwise, the breakfast was excellent and the hotel is about 500m from the U Bahn train, which is very convenient. If you don't mind grouchy front desk attendants, it's a great value.

The hotel is not centrally located. The front desk staff doesn't even have a city map - only a subway map. They were not helpful and had trouble speaking English. The room was tiny and the bathroom is open which provides no privacy. I was traveling with my teenage son and it was extremely awkward. In addition, the mattresses and pillows were awful and my back hurt for days. The buffet breakfast was excellent. I would not recommend this hotel.

nice hotel with clean rooms, but not worth the price in summer since air conditioning doesn't work. Room temperatrue was always greater than 80 degrees. All rooms have air conditioners, but management says they don't work if temperature is greater than 80 to 85 degrees, which is when you need it the most! Would have been good hotel except for air conditioner. Also stayed at the Fleming hotel during the same trip, which was the same price, but much newer and nicer and had air conditioning that worked.

Ich liess mich von den schönen Bildern im Internet blenden. Die relativ kleinen Zimmer wurden vor einigen Jahren designmaessig aufgemöbelt. Es fehlt aber an Elementarem. Die Nasszellen sind vom Schlafzimmer durch Fensterscheiben getrennt. Das sieht toll aus; wenn Einer aber nachts aufs Klo geht, wird der Partner durch die Beleuchtung gestört. Der Raum zwischen Dusche und Waschbecken ist eng, und die Klotür trennt das WC optisch und akustisch nur ungenügend vom Zimmer ab ... An Sauberkeit mangelte es, auf dem Spannteppich lagen Haarknäuel und Stoffflusen. Die Zimmer gegen die Leopoldsstrasse sind zudem laut. Wir baten um Ersatz und bekamen ihn. Dort aber kam das Warmwasser erst nach langem Warten oder aber auch nicht. Am Boden lag eine abgerissene Vorhangziehstange ... Kurz: die vier Sternen sind klar zu hoch gegriffen; es gibt elementare Mängel.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfreich . Das Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich . Die Zimmer klein ( aber man will darin ja nur schlafen ) Für Einzelpers. bestens ,für ein Paar bedingt , für 2 Bekannte , na ja , ist nicht jedermanns Sache . Toilette und Dusche mit Glastür getrennt . Obwohl das Zimmer zur Leopold Str. , war es leise . War zum Wochenende da , Preis - Leistung , sehr gut . Werde wieder da buchen .

Dieses Hotel ist einfach nur zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind sehr stilvoll und modern eingerichtet. Bad und Schlafbereich sind nur durch eine Glaswand voneinander getrennt. Das Frühstück ist lecker und sehr vielfältig. Die Anbindung zur U-Bahn ist optimal. Bis zur Station Dietlindenstraße sind es nur 5 Gehminuten. Von dort kommt man mit der U6 innerhalb weniger Minuten in Richtung Marienplatz oder zur Allianzarena. Also hier stimmt vom Preis bis zur Leistung einfach alles...

Et serviceminded personale, enkelt møblerede værelser og velfungerende, moderniserede badeværelser bag glasvægge. Morgenmaden et kapitel for sig, enkel, frisk og indbydende, ikke for overvældende. Og så må man gerne smøre en sandwich ved morgenbordet og tage med ud på ens videre færden. Også restaurantens mad er delikat og enkel.

Gutes Hotel für Business und Privat in München Schwabing. U-Bahn gut zu erreichen. Abends viel los in Umgebung. Zimmer und insbesondere Frühstück sind hervorragend. Service ebenso.

Hôtel situé près de 2 stations de métro ( Münchener Freiheit , Dietlindenstrasse ) sur la ligne U6 ; atmosphère calme ; chambre confortable ( Attention ! Les salles de bains ne sont séparées des chambres que par leurs parois en verre , donc ... transparence totale ! Aspect agréable pour des gens qui se connaissent bien ... Petit-déjeuner correct , mais un seul type de plat chaud ; aucun PC à la disposition des clients qui n'ont pas pris l'ordinateur portable sur eux ( sauf si la personne qui se trouve à la réception accepte gentiment de vous céder pendant quelques minutes le PC de la réception ! ) ; petit centre de remise en forme au sous-sol , mais sauna et hammam communs hommes-femmes .

goed hotel in Swabing en dichtbij olympia-stadion en mooi park.Kamers zijn goed en comfortabel.

ottima struttura, nuova, elegante, moderna, silenzioso. colazione abbondante, varia, ottima qualità. a sole 3 fermate della metro dal centro. situato in ottimo quartiere. Anche il ristorante dell'albergo è altrettanto consigliabile se non si vuole andare in centro.

Non lontano dal centro di Monaco , nei pressi ci sono due stazione metro u6 di Dietlindenstr. e Munchener Freiheit

Vær forberedt på at værelse og bad er ud i et. Glasbruse bad. Små værelser. Spændende design og indretning.

Das Frühstück am Freitag morgen war eine Katastrophe. Wir nehmen an, dass es irgendwelche Probleme mit der Küche gab. Der Kaffee wurde mühselig hinter der Bar gezapft. Es gab keinerlei Eierspeisen. Wäre alles kein Problem gewesen, wenn das Personal eine kurze Erklärung abgeben hätte. Samstag und Sonntag war das Frühstück dafür aber super.

Hotellet var pænt og i orden men vi var ikke begejstrede for beliggenheden.

nette angestellte. zentral gelegen. nettes design. gutes frühstück. die zimmer zur leopoldstrasse liegen schlecht. die leopoldstr. ist super laut und man kann sich dort nur aufhalten, wenn das fenster geschlossen ist. die toilette in unserem zimmer war viel zu nah am bett dran. bis auf die beiden punkte war das hotel sehr schön.

Moderne og nyopppusset hotel sentralt beliggende ved U bahn. Kort vei til restauranter. Flott frokost og hyggelig betjening ingen problemer. Flott beliggenhet i Munchen

Sehr gutes Hotel mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und nettem Personal in sehr guter zentraler Lage. Das Zimmer war bislang das ruhigste in München. Alles war recht sauber und geräumig.

Optimale Lage für Nachtleben, Shoppen und den Englischen Garten.

Sehr freundliche, angenehme Atmosphäre zum Wohlfühlen.

Grundsätzlich ist der Aufenthalt völlig ok. Lediglich die Flurunterteilungstüren aus Metall sollten geräuschärmer schließen!
