Hotel Dolomit - Monachium

Close to main station, 15 min walk to centre. Simple Hotel, but relatively cheap.

This was my second time to stay in this hotel and I hope to make it a third soon.The staff were great,very helpful about everything the could do to make your stay good.Very welcomeing so that you felt at ease about approaching them.The hotel its self is clean and tidy at all times and a place you would feel safe in at all times.It is in easy walking distance to the city centre,rail and bus to the airport,all that I can add is I loved staying there.

Room next to the breakfast area, lots of noise. One unfriendly receptionist, but the other one was very helpful and nice

For those who think that the hotel must - have a great location - have clean separate rooms with shower & toilet not shared with anybody - be relatively quiet - have nice service at the reception willing to help you - have the cheaper price - the better NOT for those who think that hotel must be brilliantly decorated with lots of additional services that you never use. NOT for those for whom the price does not matter The only really negative thing is that internet is not working, but actially internet cafe is in 2 minute walk up the street. Overall: great location in the center near central station, great value for such a cheap price!

There was a big of a language barrier that resulted in us having to pay $100 that we were not expecting. When we attempted to address this with them, it seems that they forgot we were customers who had many choices of hotels to stay in, and didnt have to stay miles away from everything else in Innsbruck.

Rooms aint big, but very well equipped. I guess lacking a minibar prevents this hotel to have more stars - it would deserve it. Breakfast was rich. Internet (wifi) available, but had to pay and compatible only with Windows laptops.

smallish room, 70's throwback, but central and easy. nice staff and excellent buffet breakfast, perfect for short stay if you need nothi9ng fancy

I would recommend this hotel based on location alone. It was almost across the street from the central train station but still felt quiet and cozy inside the room. If you hate smoking/smoke this is not the place. We had a non-smoking room, but smoke still wafted in from the corridor. The room was VERY clean (unless you count smoke waft) and very cheap. It ticked two out of three boxes, cheap and convenient...so we recommend it.

The rooms at Hotel Dolomit are VERY small. With 2 people in the room, and 2 average sized suitcases, there is no space to move around. There is also no space other than the floor for your suitcases, which reduces the available space even more. The staff was very helpful, and parking is available in an adjacent garage at a reduced rate.

Though the price was reasonable, there were other hotels in area comparable in price. The quality was very poor. We were on top floor with low ceilings and there were footprints on the ceiling! There were strip clubs to either side of the hotel. Bathroom was like a giant shower stall. Very noisy area, and would not recommend.

Clean, comfortable and convenient for all amenities. Just minutes from the main railway station. If I had one criticism it would be that although the breakfast was great, maybe something warm to eat?

There are oodles of hotels south of the main train station in Munich. While this isn't the greatest neighborhood, we never felt threatened by our surroundings. The Hotel Dolomit is very convenient to the station, nicely maintained, clean, and had a friendly staff. Even the breakfast was reasonable. Overall, we found it a good deal for the money.

Really close to the train station and very clean. There is however and ex rated movie theater close by.

Hotel is very convenient to Munich main train station.

The rooms are very very very small. It is in an ok location. Right down town, but next to strip clubs. You have to be careful at night

As others have said, the room is basically enough space to lay down... the pillows are very uncomfortable... however the location is spectacular. It is a walk to the train station and to the city center. A beautiful city. If you are just looking for a quick stay and plan on mostly sight-seeing and not being in the room much, it's great for the price.

My requirements were simple; After a weeklong stay in a pricey 5-star Vienna hotel I needed a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced place to crash for 1 night in Munich until my morning flight back to the states. The Dolomit fit the bill. My room was smaller than I had hoped and served by an arthritic elevator. But it was also cheap, clean, with wireless and a helpful, friendly if overworked staff and a bright cheerful breakfast room serving a tasty frustuck for only 8 euros. I'd stay there again.

I got in late and left early so I did not get to enjoy the hotel much. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the train station and subway system. A short walk in the rain. The price was great (I reserved the room after midnight the day before and the rate dropped over 30%) I could not get the WiFi to work and the bathroom was small.

Morgens um 8:30 Uhr fingen die Bauarbeiter an mit dem Pressluft hammer zu arbeiten. Das Treppenhaus stank penetrant nach den Farben und dem Putz der stattfindenden Renovierung. Hätte ich gewußt, daß das Hotel derzeit renoviert wird, hätte ich dort kein Quartier bezogen. Insbesondere, da ich zwei Freunden das Hotel empfohlen habe (zentrale Lage) und für den mangelhaften Zustand des Hotels stark kritisiert wurde. Peinlich, peinlich...

Les nouvelles chambres sont plus grandes et plus spacieuse. L'hotel est en rénovation en aout 09. L'acceuil est sympa et un peu en francais. Bien on y retournera

la rue est bruyante (à côté de la gare) et l'hôtel effectue des travaux du 1er au 4e étage. Il faut y aller le week-end pour être tranquille. Le wifi ne marche pas...

Für diese Preise eines der besten Hotels in München was Sauberkeit, wirklich nettes Personal und einfachen Komfort betrifft. Auch das Frühstücksbuffett sah lecker und reichlich aus, hatte allerdings keine Zeit zu kosten. Leider war das Hotel gerade am Renovieren, was bisserl Lärm und Staub im Treppenhaus verursacht hat aber nie vor 9 in der Früh und auch nicht abends. Sind dort sehr um ihre Gäste bemüht

L'accueil est sympa. Le confort est minimaliste mais suffisant pour un séjour court. La chambre était propre mais des odeurs de tabac froid persistaient dans la chambre que j'occupais. Peu de chaines de TV disponibles.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Reception sehr freundlich. Zimmer eher klein, aber alles sauber. Alles wie in der Hotelinformation beschrieben. Frückstück reichhaltig.

Kleines Hotel, ist anscheinend die "Billigschiene" von einem größeren genau daneben. Sehr kleine Zimmer, noch kleineres Bad, aber alles sauber. War gerade ein Umbau im Gange, störte aber nicht weiter (nur tagsüber).

Kleines aber sauberes Zimmer, TOP Lage, ruhig. Badgeruch wäre zu vermeiden.

The area felt save (even at night), and if you don't mind the small room and bathroom, then Dolomit is perfect. Facilities were all working and clean. Cannot complain about the location either, just next to the Central Station.

Good hotel for this price, the room and the bathroom are clean but very small (but for me is not a problem). The hotel is not too far from city centrum, and very near to the train station, although not in the most beautiful zone of Monaco. The receptionist are very available. BYE

Les chambres sont assez petites mais fonctionnelles et propres. L'hotel est situe juste a cote de la gare centrale, tout pres du centre historique de munich, ideal pour visiter Munich. Un bon hotel a prix raisonnable

Freundlicher Empfang, sehr sauber, Preis-Leistungsver hältnis ist sehr gut Ausreichendes Frühstücksbuffet sauber und freundliches Bedienungspersonal sehr empfehlenswert

Das Zimme war sauber, Personal angnehm und freundlich. Riesennachteil, der Lärm, und das die ganze Nacht durch. Vielleicht hatten wir einfach Pech aber das war fast unerträglich.
