Hotel Ascot - Krakow

The hotel was in a perfect location, near the square and shopping. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were perfect, great showers, although could do with shower gel every day. Will return sometime.

You are only 3 blocks from the center of town. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good, not great but better then average. Very happy with this stay.

The hotel is in an excellent location, really central. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Hotel is basic but clean. The beds weren't very comfortable. Our double bed was two twin beds joined together with two seperate single duvets. We ha to ask for extra blankets as room was a little cold at night. However, I would stay there again because of the lovely staff, central location and reasonable rates.

The street when you first arrive is a little daunting but when you are inside the hotel you are pleasantly surprised, with friendly and helpful staff at reception. The room is very clean, you can tell that it has just had a refurb and all though they were still doing the first floor there was no disruption to the guests. It is a five minute walk from the train station and shopping mail to the hotel. Also the square is a five minute walk so all in all the hotel is a good central stay.

really enjoyed staying in this hotel.the staff on the front desk were really friendly from the moment we arrived, bar staff really friendly and waiting staff in the restaurant for breakfast were efficient and welcoming.would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definately stay again.

The staff on reception were always very helpful and spoke good English. The breakfast staff and room staff were very pleasant and did a good job. Rooms were small but adequate. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room but any time I rang reception one was sent immediately free of charge.Main square 10 minutes walk.

Very nice! Safe and close to the old town square (about 4 blocks) with tons of yummy restaurants and close to a modern shopping mall as well. Clean and very modern. Staff was friendly, helpful and spoke English. Great breakfast every morning! Parking really is near by. Great value for the money. Can not comment on summer heat and air conditioning though as we stayed in October.

Based on reviews of this hotel, it pretty much was what I expected except for the size of the room. It was extremely small and the shower was so small, there was not much room to wash. The safe didn't seem to work and we had to continually ask for the key from the front desk. We had just come from Berlin where the room we stayed in was spacious and modern and less expensive, albeit in a less central location of the city. The location of the Astor was very convenient to the main train station and central square which was nice.

The Ascot Hotel is about 5 minutes from the tourist center of Krakow and from the railroad and bus stations on a reasonably quiet street. I had a room in front and did not hear trains - you might in the summer in a room in the back. Service was attentive, the breakfast was good and the room was very comfortable. I would certainly stay there again.

It was so hot in my room. I complained and they gave me a fan. The window only opened at the top about two inches but no air was coming in. It was high 80's outside. No air-conditioning.

Hotel Ascot was one of the nicest 3* hotels we have stayed in. The decor was clean and smart, the bedrooms really modern looking, the continental breakfast fresh and different over the few days we were there. The location was ideal, 5 minutes walk from the main old square. We have already recommended Hotel Ascot to our friends and would definitely go back there

We stayed for 3 nights at the Ascot and overall it's fine given it wasn't that expensive whereas Krakow hotels generally are. It's quite close to the old town- about 5-10 minute walk- although it's not a nice area and particularly the road it's on running down from the train station. This also made it quite noisy at night with rowdy party goers- stag nights etc passing your window as our room unfortunately looked out onto that street. The cleaning staff added to the noise by chatting quite loudly in the corridors early in the morning on our first morning. The room is fine and the bed comfortable although furnishings rather dowdy given it's been recently refurbished. The breakfast was very poor and when things ran out the staff had to be asked constantly and rather grumpy about replenshing. I stayed at the Radisson when I was last in Krakow and loved it- but it's quite a bit more. You get what you pay for!

This is a great little hotel apart from the lack of air con which makes for a hot room despite being provided with a fan. This is my only complaint though. Location was great, rooms were clean, hotel staff were very friendly and would stay again (although possibly not in August until they fitted air con!!)

I would recommend this hotel for its friendly staff nothing was too much trouble for them the rooms were spotless and the breakfast catered for all tastes

It is a great location - easy walking distance historic centre (a few minutes) and train station. The staff are friendly. Superb breakfast. Clean and comfortable room. When we asked for extra pillows they arrived that day.

After recently visiting the Ascot I would highly recommend this to other travellers. The location was very convenient for the train staion where there is a direct line to the airport, it was only a 5 minute stroll to the main square. The hotel is only 8months old and is in perfect condition. Very modern, very clean, very helpful staff would definately return on my next visit to Krakow.

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was very clean and near all attractions. Breakfast was nice. Overall really enjoyed our stay. Hotel price was easy on the pocket.

A beautiful hotel. Super Friendly staff. British hotel staff could learn alot from the staff here in the art of being helpful. Some review i had read mentioned the railway line at back of hotel well our room was at the back and this wasnt a problem. Location was perfect 5 mins from main sqaure and railway station made such a difference

Hotel staff were very welcoming and always very pleasant and wanted to help.The breakfasts were also very good and everywhere was clean.Overall a really good experience and one I would fully recommend

De werknemers daar zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam ook spreken zij allemaal goed engels Sochtens is er een ruim ontbijtbufet met maar een kleine selectie voor vegetariers maar toch wel wat Niet elk hotel heeft dat. Verder was alles super schoon en komt houskeeping elke dag Het enige wat ik jammer vond is dat de tv maar 14 zenders had waarvan op cnn en euronews na allemaal pools en duits Ik had van sateliettv toch ook wel engelse zenders verwacht Verder was alles helemaal super Ook is er internet in de lobby waar je vrij gebruik van kan maken en is er wifi op de kamer voor je laptop, ook gratis

Stille og rolig strøk. Midt i mellom Jernbanen med shoppingsenter og markedsplassen - ca fem minutters gange begge veier.

Hotellet fremstår som nytt, fint og veldig rent. 5 minutters gåavstand til markedsplassen i gamlebyen. Hyggelig betjening. Hotellet ligger mellom jernbanelinjen på den ene siden og en trafikkert vei på den andre, men dette var ikke noe problem når vinduene ble lukket. Luftkvaliteten på rommet var bra, og det var installert aircindition.

Beliggenheten er ypperlig. 5min til alt. Nytt og fint hotell. Reiser gjerne tilbake hit.

Hotellet var rent och fräscht och hade trevlig service. Det tar bara fem minuter att gå ner till torget och personalen hjälper gärna till att boka utflykter m.m. Klart värt att rekommenderas.

Unfortunately, a shelf above the bed was place to low. I could not sit in the bed leaned against the wall because of that shelf. To be able to watch to TV, I had half lay down; half sit with my neck bent in a very unergonomic way. Also, it was not possible to sit in the bed because of the shelf. I suggest that you move the shelf higher up on the wall. Try to sit in the bed your self, and you will see what I mean. There was also some problem with the hot water in the shower in the morning, but that was a minor problem.

Fin service, gode udflugter arrangeret af hotellet, god morgenmad, fin rengøring. Kan helt sikkert anbefales, ikke mindst fordi prisen absolut var ok.

Alt helt topp, spesiellt var det deilig med aircondition da det var ekstremt varmt. Minus var at rommet vårt var veldig lite så det kan være en idè å be om et større rom.

Flott lite hotell med ansatte som snakket godt engelsk, det er noe som ikke er vanlig i Krakow. God service.

Vi var 6 personer. Alle var fornøyde. Fine rom med fint bad. Bra trykk i dusjen, grei frokost buffe, sengene var gode....Servicevennlige folk, som snakket veldig bra engelsk! Bestilte turer direkte fra hotellet. Kommer gjerne tilbake til dette hotellet ved neste besøk. Anbefales!

Meget ber hotell og utrolig service i resepsjonen

Fikk et meget lite enkeltrom med et lite bad. Da jeg kom inn på rommet luktet det veldig innestengt, men det kom seg heldigvis med en del lufting. TV'en hadde Sky News og tysk Eurosport, ellers var det bare polske kanaler. Frokostbuffeten i kjelleren var helt ordinær med dårlig utvalg. Ellers så har hotellet en forholdsvis rolig og sentral beliggenhet.

Bon hôtel qui justifie ses 3 étoiles. Bibe situé à 2 pas de la place principale mais dans une rue calme. Service attentionné et propreté irréprochable. Petit déj correct .Moderne et confortable très fonctionnel. Il manquerait un peu de personnalité ce n'est pas un hôtel de charme mais c'est idéal pour un séjour court.

bon hotel, calme malgré la proximité d'une voie ferrée. personnel aimable et helpfull. aucun supplement facturé malgré petit service. petit déjeuner essentiellement anglo-saxon. avions cru comprendre que l'hotel avait un restaurant. IL ne servait que les breakfast. Mais beaucoup de restaurants au centre ville pas éloigné.

Veldig kjekt og rent hotell med sentral beliggenhet.

Bra sängar, rent och snyggt på rummet, fräsch toalett med duschkabin. Bra frukostbuffé. Trevlig personal och goda drinkar i baren.

Veldig bra hotell. En toglinje går rett ved siden av hotellet, men bra isolasjon og tog i rolig fart gjør at dette ikke er noe stort problem med mindre du er veldig lyd-sensitiv. Renslig, god service, og relativt sentralt. Ligger mellom sentrum og det største kjøpesenteret (ca 800 m til sentrum og 400 m til kjøpesenteret). Veldig service innstillt og bra personale. Anbefales!

Ett nytt hotell mycket centralt i staden. Mycket bra service sånär som på missriktad ambitiom från frukostpersonal, som "rycker" tallriken från dig innan du är färdig. Rättas säkert till efter uppmaning.

Virkelig valuta for pengene. Hotellet er moderne og minimalistisk i utforming, rommene er små men godt utnyttet. Frokosten kunne godt hatt et bedre utvalg, men var fortsatt helt ok. Hotellbaren er stilig, men i dyreste laget. Utrolig serviceinnstilt personale.

Vi bodde på fjärde våningen och våra vänner högst upp på femte. Rummen var väldigt varma, ingen luftkondisonering, vi på fjärde med ett öppningsbart fönster fick förtroendet att låsa upp fönstret och kunde ha helöppet men våra vänner hade bara ett fönster uppe vid taket som inte gick att öppna upp och dom höll på att förgås! Här måste hotellet sätta in ett kylsystem om man ska bo där på sommarhalvåret, undrar hur kallt där är på vintern? För övrigt var vi nöjda, rent och snyggt, jättegod frukost och trevlig personal!

Flott beliggenhet, hjelpsome ansatte.

Hotellet var meget bra og lå veldig sentralt til når det gjaldt aktiviteter. Det som trekker ned er at det ikke er kjøleskap på rommet og aircondition. Vi var der i en varmeperiode og det ble vanskelig å sove pga varmen. Ellers helt suverent. Blide folk i resepsjonen, men kanskje litt mer oversikt over steder under 2.verdenskrig bl.a. hvor Schindlers fabrikk lå.

Et fint hotel med et særdeles venligt og hjælpsomt personale (især Receptionen). Righoldig buffet morgenmad. Fin beliggenhed med 5-10 minutters gang til Centrum
