Location. The boutique Rivoli Jardin Hotel is located in Helsinki, Finland, 300 metres from the Esplanades, Helsinki's central shopping precinct and from Market Place. The Old Town, Uspenski Cathedral and the central train station are 800 metres away.
Hotel Features. Set in a characterful townhouse, the family-run Rivoli Jardin Hotel offers a 24-hour front desk with multilingual staff. There is a garden area.

Drinks are served in the Lobby Bar at the Rivoli Jardin Hotel. The hotel's conservatory is the setting for the breakfast buffet (surcharge).

The hotel has a business centre, complete with PC and printer. The hotel also offers express check-out and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Wireless Internet access is available.

The hotel has an eight-person sauna. There is onsite shopping at the Rivoli Jardin Hotel.

Guestrooms. The Rivoli Jardin Hotel's 55 soundproofed guestrooms and apartments are decorated in muted colours, with contemporary furnishings. Some have Oriental-inspired decor, with water hyacinth plants. All rooms have satellite television, desks, minibars and opening windows. Some rooms have wireless Internet access (surcharge). The apartments are located in an annexe and have kitchenettes with microwave ovens and fridges.

Expert Tip. Helsinki is just a ferry ride from the Swedish city of Stockholm. Ferries leave from the harbour, 400 metres from the hotel.

From Helsinki Vantaa Airport (HEL):
Distance to Rivoli Jardin Hotel is 18 kilometres, approximately 25 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Taxis from the airport to Helsinki city centre cost approximately 30 EUR, and journey time is 30 minutes. Public buses (numbers 415, 451, 519 and 615) leave for Helsinki city centre every 10-30 minutes, and cost about 3.50 EUR. Finnair city buses depart every 15-20 minutes and run until midnight daily. Single tickets cost about 5 EUR. Bus stops can be found outside both terminals. Helsinki's train station is one kilometres away, 10-15 minutes on foot. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The hotel is on Kasarmikatu. Helsinki's public transport system (HKL) includes buses, trams and a metro system. Most of the metro lines run until 11.30 p.m. Tickets cost less when purchased prior to boarding. A HKL tourist ticket is available, offering unlimited travel on all forms of public transport. Taxis are also available, easily spotted by their lit, yellow roofs. Ferries run from the harbour to the Suomenlinna fortress.
