Location. The Hotel Vondel Amsterdam Centre in Amsterdam, Netherlands is located 200 meters away from the main shopping district. Within one kilometer from the hotel is Museum Square, the Van Gogh Museum and Rijkmuseum. The Flower Market, Anne Frank's House, Madame Tussaud's, and Dam Square are all two kilometers from the hotel. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is 15 kilometers away.

Hotel Features. A boutique hotel situated in a quiet residential area of the city, Hotel Vondel Amsterdam Centre is a study in modernism. The clean lines of the furniture are done in tones of browns and greys. Amenities include round-the-clock room service, nearby parking a 24-hour front desk with a safe-deposit boxes. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby. The hotel has meeting rooms and a variety of business services available. Wireless Internet access is available for a fee.

Guestrooms. The five- story Hotel Vondel Amsterdam Centre's 85 guestrooms are decorated in creams and whites with dark carpets. Room amenities include in-room safes, minibars and private bathrooms with shower/tub combinations. Wireless Internet access is available for a fee.

Expert Tip. In P.C. Hooftstraat's museum quarter, one kilometer from the hotel, is the Souvenirs 33 giftshop. In addition to a large collection of the traditional and modern Dutch souvenirs, the shop carries original Delftware, porcelain dolls, t-shirts, sweatshirts, wooden shoes, magnets, cheese boards & cutlery, beersteins and many more. There is also a large collection of cuckoo clocks and the world famous Swiss army knives by Victorinox.
