Opis

The Grand Hotel is a 19th century palace filled with a wealth of original features and situated in the centre of Krakow's old town, 100 metres from St Mary's Basilica. The 62 guestrooms are spread over three floors and have traditional style decor in rich colours with patterned fabrics and parquet flooring. All guestrooms include satellite television with pay movies, direct-dial telephones, clock radios, climate control, minibars with complimentary bottled water and safes. Marble bathrooms are complete with bathrobes, toiletries, scales and hair dryers.
Guests can dine at the Mirror Hall restaurant, which has a high stained glass roof, chandeliers and mirrors, and serves fine, Polish-inspired cuisine. The historic Vienna Café offers coffees, pastries and home-made rose ice cream. Guests can also browse the international newspapers over a cigar and drink at the Café Bar Strauss, or enjoy a relaxing session in the sauna. There is a fully equipped business centre and complimentary high-speed Internet services are available. Multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk provide an express check- in and out service, safety-deposit boxes and arrange childcare, and room service is available round the clock. Motorists will find nearby parking or the hotel can arrange an airport transfer (surcharge). St Mary's Basilica and the Slowacki Theatre are both 100 metres away and Wawel Royal Castle is one kilometre from the hotel. Krakow Balice Airport is 12 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.
