Opis


Location. The Hotel Florida is located in the centre of Milan, Italy, within 200 metres of the Corso Buenos Aires shopping district and two kilometres from the Duomo. Milan's Central Railway Station is 50 metres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Situated in a quiet street, this six-storey property has sleek, contemporary design with polished marble and black and white leather sofas in the lobby where guests can relax by the television or read the latest news in a complimentary paper. Safe- deposit boxes are located at the 24-hour front desk and multilingual staff are on hand to assist with travel arrangements and booking tours and tickets for local attractions. Laundry services are available and there is parking nearby. Complimentary wireless Internet is provided in public areas.

A complimentary continental breakfast is served each morning in the bright decor of two breakfast rooms and drinks are available throughout the day at the hotel bar. Room service is offered during limited hours.

Guestrooms. The 55 air-conditioned guestrooms have individual styling and bright, simple decor. Guests have a choice of carpeted rooms or hypo- allergenic rooms with wooden floors. Amenities include satellite television, direct-dial phones, minibars and complimentary wireless Internet access. Bathrooms are equipped with bidets and showers or baths and feature hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.

Expert Tip. Take advantage of the hotel's concierge service to obtain tickets for Leonardo's Last Supper. Entrance is closely rationed and tickets are sold out weeks in advance during the high season.

From Milan Linate Airport (LIN):
Distance to Hotel Florida is 10 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.

Getting there. A taxi to central Milan costs about 15-20 EUR. An airport shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes to Milan's Stazione Centrale (central station). The fare is 3 EUR for a single ticket. Prices are all subject to change. From Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP):
Distance to Hotel Florida is 45 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Taxis to central Milan cost about 65 EUR-75 EUR. The Malpensa Express train runs every 30 minutes between the airport's train station and the city centre (Cadorna station). Single tickets are approximately 9 EUR, and journey time is 40 minutes. The Malpensa shuttle bus runs to Stazione Centrale (central station) every 20 minutes. The fare is 4.50 EUR and journey time is 20 minutes. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The city centre is easy to explore on foot, and there are pedestrianised areas around the Duomo. A comprehensive network of trams, buses and four metro lines offers efficient travel throughout the city. Integrated tickets for all modes of public transport can be purchased at newsagents, metro stations, tobacconists, and most coffee bars. Driving is not recommended in Milan's city centre. There are many one-way streets, traffic is heavy, and parking is limited. Cars parked illegally are towed or fined.

Driving directions. From the airport, follow directions to Milano Certosa, then to Stazione Centrale.
