Opis


Location. Shangri-La Hotel Dubai is a 42-storey sleek, modern city-centre hotel situated 500 metres from the Burj Dubai skyscraper. Dubai International Airport is 10 kilometres away and takes around 15 minutes to reach by car.
Hotel Features.Guests are offered use of the Shangri-La Hotel's health club, covering the fourth floor, which includes a gym, outdoor pool, spa tubs, plunge pools, sauna and steam rooms. Massage and beauty treatments are also available. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to the beach and nearby shopping centres, and can also arrange airport transfers (surcharge) and limousine hire. There is a choice of bars, as well as a 24-hour room service facility, and multilingual staff can assist with tour advice.

Shangri-La Hotel Dubai offers a choice of nine restaurant and bars, including Amwaj, a fine dining seafood restaurant, and Marrakesh, a North African restaurant set in a walled courtyard garden and featuring live Moroccan music. The bars include the chic, contemporary Balcony Bar and the Lobby Lounge.

Guestrooms. The 301 air-conditioned guestrooms are furnished in a sleek, modern design with warm earth tones and feature original artwork. Amenities include satellite television with premium channels, direct-dial phones with voicemail, wireless Internet access, minibars, tea and coffee making facilities, bathrobes, and slippers.

Expert Tip.Guests wishing to check out the local shops and restaurants can catch the complimentary shuttle bus to the Mall of the Emirates where, once they've finished splashing their cash, can try out some ski moves on the centre's indoor slope.

Wskazówki

Getting there. The hotel can arrange transport to and from the airport (surcharge). Taxis are available 24 hours a day outside the Terminal One arrivals hall and fares to the hotel cost around 12 USD. Limousine hire can be arranged in the arrivals hall (journey time to the city centre: approximately 10 minutes). A bus service runs to the city centre approximately every 10 minutes between 6 AM and 10 PM. Local buses run from the Deira bus station, near the Gold Souq, and the Bur Dubai station on Al-Ghubaiba Road. The older parts of Dubai Abras (small motorboats) cross Dubai Creek from early morning until around midnight.

Driving directions. From the airport follow signs to Abu Dhabi until the roundabout at the World Trade Centre. From here follow signs to Sheikh Zayed Road. Take the first service road on the right and continue straight ahead to the hotel.
